9 Positive User Reviews for 9to5Mac Breaking Tech News
Love It
I love 9to5Mac. The news articles are on point and very informative. I’m a firm Apple fan and get the most important news and product updates there. I highly recommend it.
Pretty cool!
I’ve always liked 9to5mac and I always read the articles online. I just found out there was an app instead of reading it online. I will try it out and see how it goes.
Mac User
9to5Mac App is a pay for use platform App. I find it is not worth the money. There are plenty of free Mac New Apps that I find just as informative. Free version leave you hanging. You need to pay for to read the full story. App leaves you wandering, will I enjoy the articles?
App crashes - please fix
The app crashes every time I try to upgrade to Premium :( I already emailed the developer twice but haven’t received a reply. Still giving 5 stars because I really appreciate the work – but please fix this!! I’d love to pay, but I can’t.
No premium upgrade ?
As a reviewer just stated , i cant upgrade to premium. It crashes everytime . Best Apple news app hands down. Why wont you take my money ? 🥹🥲
Please Update
For being an Apple centric app, think it’s time to update it with compatibility for iOS 26… it’s been over a YEAR since its last update. App icon is driving me nuts being blurry and not matching the rest of the Liquid Glass theme.
Losing Steam
This has been one of my absolute favorite apps to use over the years. The app not only provides valuable updates and news, but also takes chances on reporting early rumors, allowing for discussion. But recently, the app has become a money grab. We understand that developers and contributors need to make a living, so I was fine with the app going behind a paywall IF you blocked direct ads through the iPhone. Otherwise, it should have remained functional. Now, every story has an advertiser, includ
Excellent, but with Subscriber Bugs
This is the best Apple / Mac news app around and I’m supporting it by subscribing.
However, although I subscribe, the app still thinks I’m a free user and limits the articles I can read.
I’ve emailed several times about the problem and get no response.
Again, I have no problem being a subscriber and I’d like to be one for their entire suite of apps, but this bug needs to get squashed, otherwise there is no point in continuing.
Pretty good, some suggestions
The app is good for browsing articles but it is annoying to have to open my browser to view articles since I don’t subscribe. It would be nicer for everything to be in-app.
