I LOVE THIS GAME

Wasn’t sure about buying this game after seeing the reviews, but they do not do this justice. After playing the board game, I was hopeful that a good version of this would be available on the phone and this exceeds all expectations. The challenge mode is a lot of fun, the tutorial is good to explain the mechanics if you are unfamiliar, and the ability to play with other via matchmaking or AI is an amazing feature. The only note that I would have is that I would love to see the Mother of Dragon e

DLC Issues

Very fun game and speeds up playtime compared to the physical board game. However, the DLC sometimes doesn’t sync with your app purchases and is unavailable to use.

Mother of dragons expansion

Love the game. When are you going to add the mother of dragons expansion to digital game?

Mother of Dragons?

Do I dare hold my breath for a Mother of Dragons edition?

A few bugs

In game sound or music doesn’t work. No option to not use an order token in planning phase, you must give every army an order or use all available order tokens.

It’s ok, but buggy

I haven’t hit a lockup bug since the last update. Still visual bugs, but now regions lock blue or red, or units don’t vanish after they are destroyed. Happens less than before last update, but still problems. Looks nice mostly. Without bugs, my only complaint is that I have to zoom in and wear my reading glasses to tell the dark samey units apart.

Where is Mother of Dragons?

I like it so far, but I’m disappointed the latest expansion doesn’t seem to be part of the game. I’m hoping an update is coming soon. When it does I’ll update my review.

The best

Strategy board game at its finest. Like diplomacy but better

Needs Patch

Great when you can play and pretty slick on iPhone but buggy at moment.

Great tutorial - Fun Game

Learned a lot with the tutorial and was able to jump right into skirmishes. Lot of depth, will be playing this a lot.

Great tutorial

I have not played the board game but enjoyed the tutorial. The graphics are great. Seems to have depth, should keep me busy for a while.

Fun Game, But Online Doesn’t Work

I enjoy the game, but whenever I try to log in to my Asmodee account, it tells me to check my Internet (which is working fine). Problem has persisted since game launch. Other than that, I highly recommend it.

2 Negative User Reviews for A Game of Thrones: Board Game

Ai is so bad.

This is a fantastic board game and the app plays well. Unfortunately, the computer ai is so poor, even on hard mode, that the game is not a challenge, removing the fun of a skirmish against bots. Online play is good against human players.

Can’t access what I purchased

I love the game, I enjoy playing it so much. However, I purchased the Feast for Crows expansion, I played it once and now it prompts me to purchase it again… Let me use what I have bought.
