REALLY APPRECIATE THE THROUGH REPORTS, GIVEN AND UPDATES . LIKE THAT WE THE PUBLIC CAN DOWNLOAD THE APP, AND NOT ONLY GET UPDATES BUT LOCATE OUR PERSONAL ZONE AREA WHEN WE ARE IN A EMERGENCY SITUATION ,TO FOLLOW ,IF WE ARE IN THE EVACUATION AREA OR WARNING AREA. THANK YOU, FOR ALL THAT YOU DO .

A news story notification come on the screen and I click on it. One would think it would open the app and take you to the story. But not always and then you can’t find the news you were interested to see. Try the search, stories from last year pop up, but not the current news. I can’t go back a re-tap the notification because that’s gone too. The item I was interested in was real relevant to something happening now, I won’t even care tomorrow. The app is titled Action News “NOW” isn’t it?

I like the News coming up right away on local fires. Campfire survivor and Chico Humboldt fire survivor in 2008, and Dixie Fire and my horse is near along Long Bar Rd, and there is one there working on in that area. Great work n to our fire fighters. I appreciate the professionalism

I love listening to the Action News Now on the app, However, I cannot watch it on full screen, if I get out of the app for a few seconds, the screen turns black and spins and spins having to restart the news from the beginning if I’m not watching live… Also? Pretty often I have to delete and remove the app off my phone as it starts given me trouble to ‘turn it on’ to watch news at any time.

I appreciate the professionalism of Action News. Good job guys.

The news articles need better editing. Too many typos and misspelled words. Focus more on local news rather than national news.

Video won’t play unless app is open. Video won’t restart if another app is opened.

I don’t know if the app has a virus in it, but I received a McAfee notice after a couple days of the app running slow, so I uninstalled it, reinstalled the next day, and it’s still slow, and I got another notice of a virus (and trying to sell me McAfee). All my other apps are running fine. I tried ‘app support’ and it just sent me to the website, with no place to find support.

The typos and errors are constantly on the increase. When did grammar take such a low priority and is anyone smart enough to be embarrassed?

Every time I open the “live” broadcast link, I get at least 5 minutes of self promotion and often outdated community event advertising. Now, I just click on the few newsworthy articles and weather report and skip the “live” broadcast.

The new video ads that play every single time you open the app are ridiculous, just delete it and go to the website. This is one app that progressively got worse, not better.
