Know your way around

This app is great I take it on my phone, IPad and boat Garmin . I use it when I’m traveling . I highly recommend it

Needs some work

Please add ability to create Groups for Waypoints and add more Waypoint icons. Since only 10 characters can be used for Waypoint name, it is very difficult for users to find a specific Waypoint on a particular body of water from an extensive Waypoint list. My solution was to create a code that could used within 10 characters and it is still very limiting. Gauges should be designated if they require a sensor. !!

Active Captain

Love the app interaction is good and very convenient

Simple as it gets

The app is the cats meow for updating my electronics, trolling motor and Scoping transducers and hub!!!

Active Captain

Amazing ap for the Garmin products.

Excellent app

Very helpful and handy!

App review

It was a little hard to understand at first but the more you work with it it all falls into place.

Boundaries

Cannot see or create Boundaries on the app. This would be helpful so when i return home and have marked a hazard or something of size, I could create a Boundary at a later time if deemed helpful. Especially when my boat is an hour away.

It’s okay but not Gr8

Cumbersome at best.

So far so good

I have only had this since purchasing a new boat , plenty of great features, but I’ve yet to dive in deep on what this can do

Confusing at times

It isn’t clear what to do since I have two boats (power and sail). Same app, same settings for both? How does that work. The microSD card instructions are confusing. One place says turn off the chartplotter first, but another says insert it while powered on. Which is it? How do I know which is slot one?

Just Getting Started

I’m just getting started using the app but pairing it with my Garmin Chartplotter was easy. I got myself a 12v power supply and an additional power cord for my chartplotter so I can do it inside the house.

New User

Going to take time to learn but should be beneficial

Helm Control

This App makes it easy to control your boating experience

Garmin 1243sxv

Great app I can update my chart-plotter in a convenient and effective way…

Great !

Like this app to do my updates on my units.

Active Captain

So far it’s been pretty easy navigating through all the functions. I like being able to update my unit without having to download onto a card from my computer then load up on the unit, it’s all done through the app and my phone. So far I love it!

Great app

I love garmin products.

App needs work

I’ve been using this app to update units. And it’s always been hit or miss. For example there’s a glitch that happens when ever I check for updates. It will say it’s updated and that it was last checked Aug 22 with the current time. The Garmin website says my autopilot should be version 7.0. When I’m not connected to the chartplotter once I connect it doesn’t update at all. Says Vessel up to date.

Complicated

It’s not user friendly in my opinion. If you have a problem it only tells you make sure mobile device is awake and active captain is active both of which are on my units but it still won’t update.

Mo

I can’t get the charter plotter to connect to my phone Spent a lot of time doing so Returning the unit
