Very powerful ad blocker that’s simple to use. Well worth the money to purchase!

AdBlock works really well. No doubt about it. That said, websites are getting smart and they’re understanding that more and more people are using these types of apps. So now a lot of websites have pop up windows asking you to disable your Adblock blocker or else you can’t access the page. Adblock should work on that.

AdBlock works really well and makes using the web far less confusing for my elderly parents. It is worth the paltry $1.99 they’re asking for it, and I’m saying that as a devout open source developer who gives away his software. Yes, I really did load it up with 730,000 rules from all sorts of rule lists just to see what would happen, and surpisingly, it works just fine, a little slow to start/shutdown, but fine.

Every mobile game when you use this, suddenly never comes. It’s honestly the best app and a must have for all people for a cheap price.

Works, but with no support

I forget I have this installed until someone mentions how many ads they see. Just checked and it’s here updated & running as well as always. I’ve had this for years. No complaints.

This app used to be to best of the best. It would block all in app ads. However recently (Mar 2023) I have noticed ads in other apps are getting through. I hope they didn’t abandon this app. It was the best and I feel with some updates it could be the best again. DEVS!! PLEASE UPDATE!!

Absolutely amazing well done

I love this app! It is the most useful thing I have bought. To the developer: I would consider adding some shortcuts functionality, so it can be toggled using shortcuts and automations.

I’ll save you all the trouble. This is a small price to pay for a NECESSARY app. This app is so good and powerful as long as you know how to use it.

Blocks most of the adds. Has slowed down Flipboard and smart news, some of the news feeds take forever to load

This seems to be the only adblocker that actually works across every app. So happy I bought this years ago!

So besides the price tag, this app is awesome. It works for about 90% of all my apps. Reminds me of early 2000’s when all the apps weren’t overran with adds. Honestly, these days, people are just so greedy. I can hardly stand it. But this app makes it just that much more bearable. 5 stars.

To be honest, I forgot about this app. I got it when I had my iPhone 5 and it blocked all IN-APP ads! Flash Forward to a few days before 2023 and I see the app icon in my previous downloads. And I thought “No way! I wonder if this still works?!” I read the reviews and the outlook was not good.. UNTIL! I saw 1 comment “Be sure to Import the DNS or the app will not block anything” I did just that, I closed out YT and opened it back up. I am now watching YT ad free. Once again.. Thank you Devs!

I like using this. A few get in but not enough to stop using the app

Why has the app not been updated in over a year??? Works great overall, but there are bugs I’ve noticed with syncing to iCloud. Sometimes it does, other times the message just stays there “syncing to iCloud” without ever finishing. Also when adding rules to the dns blocker that contains characters not supported, generates an error message for every single url. Very frustrating! Please update the app!!

LOCAL dns server filtering ads, based on blocklists you pick, applied SYSTEM wide via a VPN configuration profile (to local device, not some sketchy DNS host). Yes there is a learning curve but half these reviewers are clueless/wrong on their statements. Reach out to dev if you need support, but this app continues to work perfectly for me. 2+ years worth of iOS updates, blocking ads system wide.

I play Scrabble and that app inundates me in ads. First I get a 30 second video ad, then a second ad that just sits as a frozen picture for multiple seconds before the X appears in different corners every time. This app gets rid of the 30 second video ad 98% of the time, but not usually the 2nd ad. Still worth it to save me 2 minutes of ad torture per Scrabble game. Without this ad blocker, I wouldn’t even want to play Scrabble.

MyFitnessPal was showing an exorbitant amount of full screen ads. Then a video ad with audio popped up. That was the last straw. This app has killed all the ads on MFP and other ad heavy apps. Thanks!

Blocks most ads in most apps, even breaking some of features that require ads to load, which is just part of the arms race between adblockers and advertisers. I'd love to see enable/disable shortcuts integration with this app, so that I can have it automatically disable adblocking when I launch games that require ads to load for certain features, then have it automatically enable once I close the game.

I’ve had this app for over 3 years. It’s amazing. I don’t care if it cost 5x what it was originally, I’d still buy it. Buddy of mine about a year ago goes “man screw these fb ads”, I just go “fb has ads? I had no idea” turns out they added them since I got this app many years ago and it still blocks them. Snapchat ads , nope. YouTube seems to be the only ads it can’t stop. But that’s okay. And SoundCloud/Spotify/other streaming apps. Enjoy

It blocks ads throughout my phone as long as i create rules for a lot of them. It does Not block Facebook nor youtube ads at all

I’ve been tryna to find a free/good Adblock for a while but good 2 dollars spent

This app is working great in blocking apps ads I’m using it all the time and almost all apps ads is gone and don’t see it anymore.

You really need AdBlock on older iPads and iPhones to help compensate for the inevitable “Apple slowdown” these products suffer from.

8 months without an update. There’s plenty of things that need to be tweaked.

Awesome ad blocker with a bunch of customizability. Not great for your grandma, but any one that can read and has some pre frontal cortex lobe development can figure it out.

This app really works, not kidding around. I’ve tried dozens of different apps and nothing, but this one stops everything, ads, banners, pop ups,, flashing lights and the whole nine yards. Fantastic, well worth the money.

Works amazingly, not right off the bat, but once you get the dns rules, works great

Apps needs a update for iOS 15 and a native dns option instead of creating vpn profile

bought this as i’d read it blocked YouTube ads. i’m possibly seeing less ads on YouTube, but they are still there and as intrusive and annoying as ever. so it didn’t really do what i was hoping it would do.

It kept on turning off after a few minutes.

When the AdBlock service is activated, “ON”, every image on eBay disappears. The description is fine for every item.

Best Free Ad Blocker, possibly the best ad blocker on iOS. I’ve tried half a dozen or more, and this is what I use. Worth trying. —— Oh, yes——it’s very customizable. You can block whatever you want, not just ads. I like it.

I’ve used this app for five years now. This is the best asblock I’ve ever used on any platform. It blocks all the ad, easy to use and manage. No weird bug or anything. You pay once and enjoy.

This app used to be amazing. It hasn’t been updated since the iOS 14 days. Though. Do not spend your money on this application until the developer/company updates this app to work with IOS 26+. Please update this or delete it from the AppStore. Since people pay money for this, it should work flawlessly.

Seems to have been abandoned - no updates and ads have returned like weeds to a garden. Was amazing when I got it a few years ago and blocked all ads across all apps.
