11 Positive User Reviews for AddStation

To boldly go....

where no ears have gone before. This is a true gift for synthesists.

Wanna hear something different?

Then secure the best thing you’ll spend $ on today! Sounds very unique. Interface is familiar if you’ve previously purchased a VirSyn app. Presets do a pretty good job of showing off the app’s capabilities. I hit a couple of interface bugs on my 11pro, ( fractal options on bottom right if dev is reading. I would also suggest working on the ability to fly through presets but please prompt a save before changing.) So Happy to pin this one to my “Sonic Wonderland” synth folder!!!! Support iOS mus

Finally something different & sonically interesting

The sounds this synth is capable of are very unique, I’m pretty surprised. Not being a fan of granular synthesis and growing tired of the same VA synths that have dominated the market, this synth came out of nowhere and is exactly what I’ve been searching for. Finally something to inspire me and hold my interest.

Amazing synth

Instant gratification here, so glad I got this. It really offers sounds and synthesis unparalleled on iOS. The negative reviews are obviously not aware of how to use the App Store or haven’t updated their iPad in years. Thanks for an amazing app virsyn.

Another WIN for VirSyn!

No doubt one of the most original and exciting synths to come around in quite some time. It's deep. It's twisted. It's surprising. It's fun to use. What more could you want?

Kawai K5000 killer

I no longer miss my K5000 and its control over partials. This beats it for sound and ease of editing. Thanks! A couple of requests and a bug: Would be nice to have a way to mute parts and adjust their volumes in the Block Edit window. And maybe a sequencer for the blocks? And a way to use the Sequence page without obstructing the time bar with our fingers? And numbers on the Block and Part tabs to remind us which element we’re editing, as well as a way to advance to a different block/part withou

Amazing Level of Innovation!

This app is so much fun to play with. Prepare to become addicted. I’d recommend browsing around the manual and maybe watching a YouTube vid - then just jump right in. First time I opened it, I was overwhelmed, I tried to just use the manual but that wasn’t any fun. Once you have the broad strokes, you’ll find yourself coming across happy accidents. Try everything! Well done to the dev, I tip my additive cap to a you good sir.

Really Interesting!

This is a great synthesizer; it continues the really innovative approach to additive synthesis taken by Virsyn; there are some fascinating possibilities. The one irritating feature is the wave sequencing section; it’s a very cool design, but it’s really hard to find just the right spot to make changes to the regions. But I’m getting used to it, slowly... The sequencer could also use some additions; it currently goes forward only; it would be nice to have a back & forth option, and maybe a random

Oops… Harry Gohs apps!

I think I mentioned a competitor’s name by mistake in the first review. The sentiment was correct, the name was wrong! Let me recap: This was the most recent purchase of this dev’s products. I have purchased newer apps of his, and this just goes to show that I’ve enjoyed them! I’ve watched the reviews over and over, judiciously choosing which ones to buy. NONE of them have ever disappointed me! Without rambling further, I’ll just say that IMO, they are ALL great stuff!

An awesome synth with unmatched sounds

But please see if you can bring it up to compatibility with Apple Silicon Macs for Logic Pro and GarageBand. Thank you!

Has potential but frustrating😡😡😡

I’m going to start with a critical review because it needs it. As a plug in, Using drop down menu to select patches Is labourious!!! And long You need to add < > buttons so performers can instantly switch patches. This needs to happen NOW don’t make us wait. This is a complete kill joy being force to use a slow drop down menu system for every patch change.
