Overall great ad blocker. However, its presence interferes with Apple Intelligence communicating with ChatGPT properly. I turn off AdGuard and no issues, I turn it on and Apple Intelligence doesn’t work

This is the one you want for Safari, not the one called Adblock Pro. This one works better even when using it for free. Also the premium version costs less than that other inferior blocker. I trust AdGuard which is rare for me.

i read a lot of manga online and usually i always get redirected or get a bunch of lousy ads in my face but my friend recommended this to me so i downloaded it and i only use the free version but its helped me so much!

They block absolutely everything some sites i didnt even know had problems with ads because this app takes care of them all and its so easy to use

Only 5 stars to come to the top, for what ive seen from other reviews here is a summary of all the bad reviews: Mkay so it seems like it will make your wifi slower, and another companys firewall that doesnt work. Yall can look at the rest, but I dont reccomend getting ANY ad blockers because it will prob be a scam/not work. Oh yeah also dont get “Total Adblocker” because from what ive seen it scams your money with no refund option >< EDIT: I also see one of the reviews, the developers replied

App works OK, but isn’t perfect with adblocking for YouTube’s website. Also, the app seems to have stopped tracking statistics for blocked ads, trackers, etc.

Is there ANY way that AdGuard can do something about the ad blocker detectors that some websites have??? It’s incredibly annoying that i have to be disabling my ad blocker for certain annoying sites.

Years ago I switched from AdGuard to 1Blocker believing the hype. Ads were constantly missed and when trying to block them manually it literally loads the non-ad version of the website making it useless. I switched back to AdGuard and instantly wondered why I ever left. Integration with iOS is perfectly done, it blocks most ads without leaving giant white space on websites, and if it misses something it’s super easy to manually get rid of the ad. Keep up the great work devs!

It continues to block ads, and is the best app at doing so, but I can’t update some of my filters. It tries for a while then says filter update failed. It seems the Adblock filters update but other filters like the annoyance filters are not. They are stuck on April 5 and it is June as of this writing.

Worked great, then found it was from Russians. Deleted it

All of a sudden sites are unresponsive and I have to turn off the blocker and then it shows the screen to accept cookies. A relatively new issue

First the good…. This product will block ads like having a PiHole (open source tool for blocking ads written for raspberry Pi) but full time in your phone. And it blocks app-level ads too (like in FB and AppStore games) Now the bad. It’s a pig. My battery usage is 4x normal when I use AdGuard with DNS protection turned on. Likely due to the VPN profile that it installs combined with the guard software itself. I cannot get thru a day without having to plug in my phone using DNS protection. S

Had the free version for about a year and then finally decided to support the app and bought the lifetime option. I have nothing but good things to say about this blocker. It’s set it and then forget it until it needs an update. Super easy to use and unobtrusive that I forget it’s installed on my device.

For some reason there is a bug when using YouTube in safari now that makes the screen black I have tried reinstalling, changing blocking filters, using different blockers, clearing cache, restarting device, changing experimental safari settings, etc. but nothing works. Either YouTube rolled out an update to break the app or the app rolled out an update that broke itself. Any help regarding this matter would be extremely appreciated.

This is one of the best pieces of software I have. Initially after installing Ventura I had some very real issues. But after a total reinstall of Ventura OS it worked. I can not say what happened. But when I installed Ventura on a different MacBook Pro I turned OFF all Safari extensions. And after installation of Ventura Ad-Guard worked as smoothly as before. So whatever updates were introduced recently has caused the experience in safari to be lousy. Google’s sponsored garbage search “results” are now showing up (this is bad) and other elements are either no longer blocked or blocked in a way that disrupts use of the site. What happened???

It’s good but it suddenly stopped working a few days ago, and I had read one of the reply’s to a review saying that I should try uninstalling the app or turning re enabling the ad blocker and waiting for a bit, but that didn’t really work either

I’ve noticed that on website like 9anime.to there are redirects that are not blocked and it it’s a huge inconvenience so is there any possible way this could be handled.

For the past half a year I've had nothing but connection problems. Constant disconnects when leaving a Wi-Fi area. The "reset network" function seems to not help at all. I constantly need to disable Wi-Fi and Cellular Data to get back online. When it works, it works, but it's been too frustrating recently.

This isn’t the first time. Usually, this is a great app but every once in awhile an update will break it. I am getting ads on almost every first time I am starting a video in safari on YouTube. If I refresh the page, the video starts without an ad. Minor inconvenience but since blocking ads is it’s main function, it’s working only 50% if I have to refresh it to make it work.

I usually don’t write reviews because I have better things to do, however, this is the first adblocker that blocks those extremely annoying pop up windows that will open a new tab and sometimes even open another app! Also I’m doing the free version so definitely try this out if you were like me looking for an ad block that actually blocks ads lol

After an entire year of your app being broken and tech support offering zero help, you guys finally fixed the app with the new iOS 16 update. I can delete my other ad blockers now because all iOS ad blockers are pure garbage compared to yours. Thanks!

Ok so I went to my settings went to safari went to Extensions but the settings are gray so I don’t know what to do.

Use this for some websites to watch movies and it’s perfect

Can I use the lifetime version on multiple devices? such as android or windows.

An excellent program blocks all included ads, is easy to use, saves time and Internet traffic.

When I downloaded the app, it worked perfect, but I turned it off for a while to support a site I enjoyed, but when I turned it back on it completely failed.

Easily my favorite App Store purchase. VPN service works extremely well in conjunction. Thanks you Adblock. There would be no internet without your service.

It’s work very well

AdGuard is awesome. I use it on my Mac, iPhone and tablet. It blocks ads and other nasty stuff and just works. Support is very responsive. Nothing but praise. I’ve been a fan for years!

It works well however you have to disable it sometimes to access certain websites.

While I didn’t have issues previously with this app in blocking ads and it provided a more seamless service than a VPN by not slowing down connections, recently, this app has been causing severe issues with connectivity and with other apps. It has become too much of a liability that most of my phone becomes useless.

Used to work great now I’m constantly getting captcha requests for traffic on safari
