Some how this blocks ads on the twitch app no more $16 a month for twitch turbo ,amazing 🎪
I have my app running all the time and the dns protection randomly gets turned off.
Sometimes blocks Apple Music, though, if using the adguard dns servers. I have to use a local blocklist and a different DNS provider.
Worth every penny
This app is not what it was on iOS 18. So many websites and many apps don’t function. I constantly have to turn it off. Updates don’t fix it.
I use Ad Guard with NordVPN on an iPhone 13 and it works perfectly without any issues. It blocks 100% of ads according to ad blocker test sites. It simply doesn’t get any better. I’m grateful for this app.
Still getting the filter update error message in iOS 17.3.1 Well, we’re still getting the filter update error message when in fact, this error message, in fact is an error in itself. You can look at your filters and determine they in fact, did get updated correctly. Maybe in iOS 17.4 this mess will finally get fixed once, and for all.
It’s amazing how well this works. I don’t remember the last time I’ve seen an advertisement lol.
usually it’s a 5 star app and i’m sure it will be again, but it’s dramatically and abruptly barely blocking ads on my ipad mini 6 since i updated the other day to 17.1 and boy, the web is almost unuseable without adguard.
I’ve subscribed to AdGuard for a few years. I wouldn’t run my PC, iPhone, or iPad with out it anymore. Simple but strong privacy protection.
When Apple updated to iOS 17. It broke Adguard dns filters, since recently the app was updated and fixed all those issues. If you’re still having troubles i suggest deleting the app or updating. You can read about it on their blog, which I find very useful.
Great app but the widget doesn’t work. Also would be nice for the widget to be interactive like others I have seen.
Essential to a good security/privacy toolbox. Needs a note function to remind me why I allowed/blocked a given domain.
This app used to work well, now it does absolutely nothing!!
The VPN blocks in-app really well. Would love to have shortcuts to pause for X min like 1Blocker
This is by far the best all in one app for iOS, and I’ve had nothing but an awesome experience since purchasing my lifetime membership. Unfortunately, my about page did not show my license information and creating an account using my iCloud email is not pulling any license info
Probably the best ad blocker for iOS and Mac. Just one question, why on earth does it just render my drive useless once in awhil??? It works about 98% of the time but that 2% where the phone can’t connect to internet at all makes this so infuriating
This is by far the best all in one app for iOS, and I’ve had nothing but an awesome experience since purchasing my lifetime membership. Unfortunately, Im not seeing this update you mentioned to the other users/reviewers from this week that should resolve the network issues. The last update I have is from 2 months ago, which is version 4.4.4. I’m on 16.1.2, iPhone 13 Pro
When AdGuard is on, I cannot connect to the internet at all. I had paid for this app and it’s now unusable. Using AdGuard’s DNS, I cannot connect to the internet at all. I even restarted the phone. The other DNS servers provided doesn’t block the mobile ads like AdGuard’s DNS. ETA: there was an issue with their DNS that was affecting everyone. This really is the best adblocker around because it not only blocks ads in the browsers, it also blocks mobile ads!
Probably the best ad blocking experience you can have on iOS.
1. It stops updating when the iPhone’s auto-lock comes on (Battery saver is not on), so I am forced to disable the auto-lock in order to update 2. Then it takes a a huge time to update. And once updated it doesn’t remembers that it just updated and if you click on update again it will restart the huge, long time, updating process again!!
Significantly reduces ads. So it does it’s job. Great! However, it intermittently cuts off my internet connection: Wi-Fi appears on, but cannot connect to any webpages. Sometimes rebooting my phone solves the issue, sometimes it doesn’t. I know it’s not a Wi-Fi-specific issue because I’ve switched between Wi-Fis when it happened.
I hate ads and test/tweak them all the time. Adguard pro/premium is the best you can get on iPhone.
I’ve been a long time user and it used to be great. Recently, with the new updates, there seem to be ads getting through. Not sure what has happened but this app has become steadily worse over time. Really a bummer because I love this app.
Works well and one less subscription is always nice. Thank you for a reasonable one time payment. The only suggestion I have is to make the filters easier to get to. I had trouble finding them at first.
You choose to block things I don’t approve of!!! Can’t get into ITunes or Apps! Why are you doing this????
A good educational tool!
Work perfect and excellent support
This works like it should and how I want it to. Couldn’t be happier with the product.
It works well on ipad pro
It’s the only one that constantly makes sense
各种意义上很好的应用,android和pc端也有在使用,想问一下能否支持其他vpn软件,像Shadowrocket什么
I really don’t trust built in ad blockers. Adguard is the best imo
Essential to a good security/privacy toolbox.
如果要开其他VPN,这个DNS防护就不能使用了
No issues- it seems to work well. Lots of features so it is worth your while to research the options.
Cost may be high but works perfectly
The beta seemed to fix switching from Wi-Fi to cellular, thanks for quick response and fix.
Great refresh! THANK YOU for fair pricing and update policies. THANK YOU for not being one of those annoying subscription apps! THANK YOU for making a quality app that works and does what it is supposed to! Your developers are heroic!!!!
I was using this app for quite a long time, it's really superb im not seeing anything drawbacks from this app , because from the beginning to now Addguard provided extraordinary add bocking features
5 Negative User Reviews for AdGuard Pro adblock&privacy
Enabling Adguard on yt is triggering yt to stream the wrong language audio channel (perhaps purposefully by them?). Any yt channel that publishes videos with multiple audio tracks is unwatchable.
Filters stopped working, as did connecting to DNS. What this means is that mobile or wifi will work or try to work or stop working altogether randomly. Only way to somewhat have it work is to delete the profile and reinstall, but it’s a temporary fix. Having this issue on multiple devices. Not sure what happened, but AdGuard Pro is not what it used to be.
This adblocker worked so well for many years. You had to reload it every time you went to a new YouTube channel, but it blocked their insufferable ads 100% of the time, every time. But in the last two weeks, it no longer works like it used to. Now instead of blocking the ad in the same tab with a push notification letting you know that the block is active, it takes you to another window entirely and only works some of the time. No more reading comments while watching a video, I guess. Bitterly d
NOT WORKING CRASHES as of 11/17/25 PLEASE RELEASE A FIX OR UPDATE for this. Thanks The so called DNS “Protection” self disable itself on this app. Continued , years old, “Filter error” bug keeps appearing and stopping the regular updates! Bad confusing interface makes essential tools hard to find. In the iPhone other apps seem to attack, infiltrate and modify this app.
Often times, the vpn symbol is on and connected but it doesn’t actually block anything. Then you need to toggle the vpn or enable and disable it in the app to actually get it to work. Annoying. Update: very easy to reproduce, just turn on and off your phone and on boot, it would not work majority of the time.
