AdLock: Ads Blocker & Privacy App Reviews

At this time YT has found a way to disable my Ad Blocker app. Please work on an update. I despise their ads!!!!

AdLock fixed the youtube thing, it now allows you to play videos ad free again. i don’t know about the other usages of this app since i only use it for youtube, hence the -1 star for fairness. 9/18/25 review: no longer working with the ad blocker for youtube. -1 star until it’s fixed! Will report back if fixed

It’s not bad, my only negative thing about it is that it doesn’t save your progress whenever you go and watch a video

The adfree YouTube was working great until a few days ago. Now anytime I try to watch a video I get an error code 15.

First time one of these actually works out of the box. 5 star when I know for sure.

It’s a great app. Helps with blocking out advertisements when looking for specific files. Or converting files during school (for classwork to my Chromebook.) though it’s a shame it doesnt block out advertisments outside of my browser. If anyone knows how to do so without premium, it’d be a great help.

Adds on all platforms, specifically YouTube, are becoming ridiculously frequent and targeted and this app makes that a non-factor. When I put on a YouTube just to listen to, I don want to listen to ads.

Does exactly what it should. Worth the monthly subscription. Try it you won’t be disappointed.

It works as intended. It actually blocks those pesky YouTube ads! I would like to see some additional features, but it fulfills the intended purpose.

As an ad blocker, this app does the job for me. There are times where the app just stops while playing a video and I have to close and open the app, so that’s pretty annoying. I wish there was a way that subtitles could be shown because that would really make it for me. If something could be done also so that video playback speed could carry over, that’d be nice too.

Thankfully they offered a trial, hopefully soon this feature will be added

I wish the controls were more intuitive when first learning how the third-party stuff works. But a great app beyond that.

Its good but mabye you can do it on games and stuff like TikTok (ext)

I went with AdLock because of the price and features. It’s more reasonably priced than most and does everything. All ad blockers handle YouTube similarly with the exception of those that only block YouTube ads if you’re watching in your browser. There was an offer that came up to get a year at a discounted price, don’t bypass it, it doesn’t come up again (or at least I can’t get it to).

Its so reliable. And always delivers. Things i like about this app. 1. Theres no pop up ads and 2. Easy set up, then you never have to worry about setting up again.

I can watch ANYTHING I want on YouTube WITHOUT ads it’s like a bless😇🤩 AND I CAN GO AD FREE IN SAFARI SIGNS ME UP LOL

I only use this for YouTube and it worked swell (5stars) and I assume they need time to get it back up and running but to be clear it is not currently working
