This app gives you multiple choices as far as data sources Can easily be calibrated via known altitude It makes me sad that people give Apps bad reviews when they don’t understand how science works

Always Works!

Never lets me down.

I can’t believe how often I use this. You too will find yourself standing on a cliff above the ocean wondering how high you are! This gives you the answer immediately. It just sits there and waits because the App knows you’ll be back soon!

I have checked it against posted altitudes many times and it’s always right on the mark, so I have great confidence when I measure a very random location. I consider it very reliable.

It works great but I wish it would work while flying too and while in plain mode but it doesn’t. I thought I red something that it works but it did not. That was the main reason I got it. Too bad. But other than that it works great.

Barometer calibration not working on Apple Watch Ultra 2 WatchOS 11.1. Need this function to offset altitude from my current ground altitude. Help!! App has all the potential, the best one by far, just need this fixed. Thank you.

I have been using this altimeter for a wide variety of activities, and whenever comparing with known altitude it has been right on.

A family member has a heart/lung issue that affects the ability to survive elevation above 3,000’ over night while sleeping. I use this for determining camping elevations. 👍

I have used this program with maps teaching my kids how to not get lost and just to verify the height of a road or on a ski mountain. Thrilled to have it. Thank you.

For .99 this app is a no brainer. The jump to google earth zoom in from the altimeter is cool Beans too!

Surprisingly accurate! We live in CO and use it all the time on mountain passes.

I like this app. I would like to see an enhancement allowing the user to zero current altitude and provide AGL (above ground level altitude. )

Living and driving around in the rockies between 5-14k ft. Whip this out every now and then for various uses. No qualms here.

This is easily the best altimeter app but I’m not sure it is being supported. It would be nice to see an updated version (no updates in 3+ years) Would like to be able to use it in iOS live activity so I can see it when my iPhone locks. I love the app when I can read it (which is most of the time) when it is bright outside it is difficult to read. The dark background is the only option. that allows you to change from black to white.

Great app for what it is. Used it for years, never a problem. Highly recommend!

Barometer calibration doesn’t work on Apple Watch. There are also typos in the UI. Not worth $0.99.

Adds nothing you can’t already get from the free compass that comes with iPhone or Apple Watch, and it prompts you to “calibrate” every day.

Plus or minus 10ft does not work well when you live at or near sea level. They should tell you this before purchase.
