Amazing Slow Downer App Reviews

When teaching combinations for musical theater, I found this app extremely useful. I can slow down tracks and dancers, especially less skilled dancers pick up the combinations with ease. When speeded up the results are very nice and the dancers love the result.

Bring back Spotify!!!!

Why am I forced to go to Apple Music to import songs that I have already bought and are in my library? This is a pain and I didn’t used to have to do this.

I’ve used this for years. My favorite use is making a recording of a piece a student is working on then exporting it at different tempi.

This is my go-to when learning new music. During a recent case of me being dumb, the developer responded to my question quickly, and went above, and beyond to help me find a solution.

I’ve had ASD on my phones and iPads for many years now. I have always learned best by ear and this is the correct tool for doing just that. I play banjo, guitar and harmonica.

Works as advertised. I would like better instructions, but once you figure it out, it’s nice to not have advertisements constantly barraging you.

This app is very helpful to practice with, particularly when learning a new tune. You can slow it down without losing the pitch. The looping is also very handy. I wish I could insert a photo of my past notes/solos/lyrics into the Notes section.

Look, I don’t envy anyone trying to create an interface to do this. It’s hard. But these folks did a good job, once I put in the time to understand it, i’m so grateful I have it. An essential tool.

I love this app. I purchased it several years ago and have changed phones. I can’t find it on my current phone. Is it because it may have been an android and now I have an Apple? Please give it back? I miss it.

The app is useful but man is it a bummer that the replay doesn’t end exactly where you set it. It seems like the replay bar is long enough for the actual time stamp I’ve set for the end, but it stops a bit short, which isn’t great when you really want a very specific section. Feels a little crazy that it’s not exact when I spent like $15 on this.

I’m so saddened for the main fact that the number one reason for me getting and using this app was for Spotify. What now? 🙁😦😑

I’ll continue using ASD but cancel my Spotify account. How stupid of Spotify to restrict our enjoyment and studying of music in the way that only musicians can. Anti musician creeps!

Because the only reason I had it is because it worked with ASD App. Bummed.

This software is unquestionably the very best that I have ever used to slow music down and change the key. It has at least tripled my ability and speed to learn new fiddle songs. I learned of this software when playing in NY from a musician who worked for Fender. He said it was his best kept secret as a session musician. I’ve tried others, but this one is the best by far for me.

One thing I recently found out is that if you create a clip to loop in a song from a Spotify playlist, the timing isn’t saved in the app over a long period of time so you have to manually go back and find the spot in the song you’re looking to loop. Super frustrating. Otherwise a very good app.

Id give this app 5 stars if you made it able to browse other songs on the playlist without stopping the song you’re listening to

I love the app but can you make the music still play while browsing for another song on your playlist?? It’s a nuisance having the music stop if you back out of the sliders. THANKS!

I don’t write reviews for apps but this one is just great. It’s really nice that it works with Apple Music.

Speed slider is not working. I’ve reinstalled the app and restarted my phone…

I purchased this to be able to slow songs down without changing the pitch. Apparently that can not be done anymore when using apple tunes. You use to be able to but not anymore. Is there a reason why this is now happening?

Every time I go to adjust the pitch it doesn’t let me. Lets me slow it down just fine though. How can I fix this? I have Apple Music

Good quality sound, there’s exporting options, and simple interface. Great for slowing down music, can’t ask for much else 👍🏽

Learned a lot using this app to listen. Please add a Tidal integration as well!

Super useful. I would love the ability to add markers instead of creating loops. Otherwise it works great. Spotify integration is huge.

Been using for many many years and the integration with Spotify and Apple Music is incredible.

I love this app however I feel as there some features that need to come -ability to shuffle songs while keeping settings -ability to add reverb and such -add more and more sound settings and voice effects

Could we incorporate a feature in which there are multiple audio inputs for blending?

I am not a music teacher or musician, but I’ve always like slowing down music to get different chords. It’s nice that this app lets me do that. Too bad this app doesn’t have a karaoke function. You can’t have everything.

This is worth the 15$. You would be surprised how cool you can make some music sound when you slower the pace of it.. this app goes into your Spotify so you can mess with the music you have saved on there. Worth the download 👍🏼👍🏼

This app always works well! I recommend it for learning to play a song by playing an instrument along with a slowed down version of a song accessible through one’s device. This is a great idea and successful implementation.

The ability to connect to Spotify and use playlist for practicing is very useful

I use this all the time to transcribe and it is by far the most useful transcription tool I have used. Worth the money and very easy to use.
