I didn’t have any expectations of this app, as an older person I find it incredibly easy to use.

When you try to book a flight on your phone and you switch to another screen or app real quick to check info. The app resets and you have to restart

This is the second trip in which I couldn't get my bag paid for in advance because the app would not take my AmX card. Not sure why....(it's accepted by everything else, so not sure if there is additional security??)

American now has a great app with all our information saved and bookings can be made seamlessly. Easy to navigate and to choose options.

American Airline did an excellent job on my destination to, considering them cyber issue. I’m surprised it was not as bad as I had expected. Staff was very respectful. My flight was on time. I hope it will be the same way flying out of Charlotte, NC on tomorrow.

On July 20th my flight was canceled at 2:00am. I immediately called the number to rebook my flight. A very nice but tired woman spent 2 hours trying to find me a flight so I could make it to a very important and very expensive class. I was flying from Florida to LA. Between flat tires on planes, wrong hotels and very little sleep I am happy to say I made it. Every AA associate I came into contact with, with the exception of one rude man in RSW, was kind and understanding and as helpful as they

App needs an option to open boarding passes straight from the app instead of downloading to wallet.

Great to find your flight information. And in flight this app works to show you how much longer you have on your flight! ✈️ It also provides baggage information if it was loaded/unloaded, or ever arrived. Definitely will be using again. 😇

I had a phenomenal trip with my 2 children, one of whom has special needs. We tried making the trip 2 years ago at Christmas, but failed. It was heartbreaking, as it would I am highly appreciative of the assistance and care of those at check in boarding, and inflight Julio was fantastic at check in and made every accommodation to have Alex s caretaker assist me in getting him to the gate- perfectly. I flew on American on the busy weekend after lots of schools ended Spring break. AmerIcan was on top of informing me about gates and changes.

Generally a good app but after rebooking a couple of flights due to weather cancellations, I’m not able to update the boarding passes in Apple Wallet. A 16.3.1 bug perhaps?? Guess I need to dust off the old printer.

Make it so EVEN IF you’re flying standby you can put in the record locator and it will find your flight to make it so much easier and access the employee portal all the time it’s been a pain, please and thank you !🙏🏽

I can’t find where to track my luggage. This is not user friendly. It should be right there with my reservation confirmation. Especially once I have landed

I love how AA keeps on updating, changing and enhancing all you can do through their app. Easy to navigate. Real time updates. I still love the ability to call and connect in person but this app has saved me time and nerves.

The American Airlines family was there from beginning to end with helping me reacquaint myself to the flying ‘ordeal’ after an 8 year flying hiatus. I could not have had better flights to and from Colorado Springs. Everyone from answering my questions and keeping me up on the flight changes, to opening doors for me, were professional, welcoming and knowledgeable. American Airlines is the best! Thank you for helping this old lady have a pleasant and comfortable experience !

Straight to the point

It keeps telling me to put my correct password which I did. Can’t sign in even when I change it. Frustrating when checking flight.

Earlier today, I flew on AA from Salisbury, Md to Philadelphia, PA and then to Albany, NY. Everything was perfect. Flights left on time and got in early. The staff couldn’t have been nicer. It was a great experience! Fljchkxydjxngxjxjxkyc

App makes it a breeze when traveling on American! Easy to make flight changes as you immediately know availability and cost. You are kept up to date on flight status and baggage progress.

I am writing this review not because the app pestered me to, but because it is one of the most highly useful and functional on my phone. EVERY FEATURE ACTUALLY WORKS. One-stop for my flight and gate info, load my boarding passes right into Apple Wallet and track my luggage. Same app also enables me to view the flight in progress and check out the entertainment. User intuitive layout is much appreciated. GREAT DESIGN.

Love the updates in real time. I also like the links to a map for directions to your next gate for connecting flights and estimated time it will take you to walk there. It also has a status of your luggage.

I have used various airlines and the American App has been the most challenging by far. Very frustrating and my upcoming flight I cannot even load my boarding pass on my phone. Have had 0 difficulties with competitors app in checking in, have others in my party check in, loading boarding passes, etc. while all of the airlines are struggling to make ends meet, this App has little interest in being helpful, just upselling you at every click. While my last 2 trips have been with American, my future
