It’s a great community of music lovers that share music and is great for any music lover who wants to share music. BUT… the app crashes regularly, a few times while I was hosting a show. And there aren’t many features when it comes to viewing who is tuned into your station and states after the show is complete.
So while I like the idea and definitely the display, I can’t even access my own account. Whenever I try to login, it refreshes and put me back to the Home Screen without my account. Please fix this!!! This app has great potential!!!
The first time you have a
Amp is a new hybrid concept. And it is tons of fun.
Amp is a work in progress, they are still adding features and take a lot of feedback from users right now. Great time to grow with the app if you want to be a host. Also there are some quality hosts on the app and you get to listen for free. I’m sure ads will be coming eventually but gotta pay for all of it somehow.
Thank you AMP for creating an innovative app that combines my love of music with my passion for storytelling, poetry, astrology & being amongst other creatives like me : )
I especially love “Four Quarters”. So clever to combine appropriate music to listen to such informed information and thoughts about sports.
I’m giving the app 3 stars because the inability to fast forward or rewind episodes is sooo unfortunate.
Has the potential to reimagine the entire music industry in the ways music is shared, expressed, and created. Niche is good !
I listen to Joe Burden’s show everyday when I drive. Contents are really good! I unsubscribed my siriusXM for it!
Need HomePod compatibility!!!!
We all only here cuz of lil Top
I’m only here for youngboy
The UI is clean, but not a whole lot of accessibility other than swiping left and right, sifting through hundreds of stations that I’m not feeling at the moment. At least have a search option and a filter to see if any available stations within the category are live.
Downloaded cause the yb deal
As an artist , It’d be really cool if I could import my own music files to stream .
Everything is fine, I like the app, but I can't understand how something as simple as leaving the audio playing in the background is not possible! I literally can't listen to a live show and at the same time read my tweets or read a book, it's absurd, fix that!
How are you supposed to build a show if you can’t play music when no one is listening? Someone logs in you can hit play. They log off you can’t start a new song until someone else joins. Crickets…. Crickets…. Dead air.
The concept of the app is great. Not being able to save playlists is a huge downside. Not being able to play music until someone comes in is also bad. You can’t really get listeners to stay if they come in to silence. The idea of the app is fun but it needs some qol changes to be great.
I love this app. Can you please add a comment section and a way to let listeners tune into shows that they missed. Also, please add a Mac OS and desktop versions of the Amp app? I would give amp 5 stars.
I really like this app for creators, I wish there was a feature to save show titles and descriptions as a template. I think this feature would streamline shows for creators. I also think there should be a more dedicated discovery page. I think it’s a good app and has a lot of potential! Maybe a direct message functionality would be good too. Also a tipping system would benefit creators to be supported by listeners.
Pretty lame that you can only interact with the streamer with clapping hand symbols and no chat. Might as well record a youtube video. Why do I need to listen to someone live if I can’t interact with them? Would rather watch a youtube vid.
Amazon should cut Nicki a huge check for making the app come alive.
Is there a comment section or nah? As a listener I want to be able to interact with other listeners. If there is one it’s not easy to find..
It feels like radio back when it was cool and not just all owned by the same company. Love it
slow to use, you guys have spent loads of money promoting an app that doesn’t work very well. I looked it up because I saw the ads everywhere and thought it was a cool idea but I didn’t realize it was still in beta mode.
A fun app to kill time.
Great App 5️⃣⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Begging to be able to play more than 3 songs from a certain artist! Other than that I love it!!
I love this app it’s a completely different experience but please make it possible to listen to shows afterwards so they are saved in the profile because of time shifts around the world,I don’t wanna listen to something at 3 am
Now I can finally host my own radio show, and do it all from my bedroom. Amp combines social audio with access to Amazon’s music library. The community of broadcasters and listeners is truly a positive place - I feel like I’ve already made friends. The people who work at Amp are passionate about putting out a great product while also caring about its users. Some major artists and celebrities have shows on Amp and many more have been guests and / or have shows launching soon. I love
It’s a good app. It definitely needs some improvement like searching for users, letting you play songs from the same artists at a time and possibly the option to do shows with your camera on. My original rating would’ve been a 3 but since it’s a new app I won’t go too hard and Nicki is also apart of it so you get an automatic 5 star :)
There’s no guides on how to play songs or make your show stand out. I feel like this is a great idea for an app, but it’s so vague and my user friendly on how it actually works. Also, it doesn’t save your shows? That’s a terrible feature.
I SHOULD BE ABLE TO SAVE A PLAYLIST THAT TAKES AT LEAST 20 MINS TO SET UP!🤯
I love listening to Graham Bunn’s show!
