This is one great, outstanding service tracking my phone tracking the wife tracking my radio. You can’t go wrong with this. I hope this never goes away.

Great app with Mobilinkd TNC and works on my iPhone. There are some small features they should improve for ease of function but I’m otherwise very happy.

Amateur radio, where everyone everywhere tries to squeeze every cent out of you that they can. This app not only has a purchase price, but that only buys you the privilege of paying them more money with an annual subscription. Yay!

I’ve had this app for about a year now. Paid for the extra features to message. Can send a message and I receive it in my radio, but it never says that it was sent. It will time out and say not sent when it sent a message every time it tried to send. And when I reply on the radio it sends from the radio and I don’t receive it on the app. What am I doing wrong?

This app works great especially when connected to a external TNC

Huge improvement for use on my UV-Pro using the BLE TNC. Huge improvement over the BTech APRS functionality in the app.

I can’t seem to be able to beacon, the Beacon isn’t clickable.

This app has worked very well for me. The only feature I wish it had is smart beaconing.

Solid product and never had a problem in the past. Recently drug out my Mobilinkd and YAESU to get on the airwave again. Beaconing seems to be working in the app, radio transmits, app shows my coordinates.. but when I try to send a msg for weather or any other service that requires location it tells me to beacon.. I do beacon again and no luck. Everything else seems fine.

It takes a while to master but is useful for public service events.

I enjoy the app. I suppose having a dedicated monitor would be best, but APRS.FI will fill the void.

I’ve used this app for almost 5 years. I think I had one issue over that time and the developer had that fixed in less than 24 hours and he is the one that found the problem. I have no complaints as this is a great app! de KA5MTE

Both website and app do not ID the Yaesu FTM-200 as a rig. Furthermore, the beacon text always displays a “_2” at the end. Other than that, minor bug fixes are needed. The app occasionally will not refresh once closed.

This app is a very reliable way to participate in the APRS Network. Keep up the good work!😊👍

This is a great amateur radio application I use so my family can track my status when I hike.

I’ve been a user of APRS since the early days over 20 years ago. I’ve used many apps but this is the best! Plus it supports aprs.fi which is integral to the entire APRS infrastructure. My only wish is that I could set the opening map to a chosen spot. Maybe there is a way to do it that I haven’t figured out. Anyway, great app! 73 de N5CSU

I don’t usually write reviews, but the work and thought that went into making this app what it is deserves recognition. It is well worth the price and the subscription fee. I use it all the time with my Mobilinkd TNC and VX-6R. Could not recommend more.

Needed APRS for an event last minute but recently switched to iPhone. Luckily this app connected right up to my Mobilinkd TNC3. Much easier to configure than APRSdroid too. Would love to see cached maps as many of the events I volunteer for are in areas with no cell or Wi-Fi coverage. Would also like to be able to change my nickname without creating a new account on aprs.fi. It might just be me, but when tracking a station I can’t seem to reset the map to show me everything around me again w

Especially when has to compete with other APPS for the signal received.. I have been using for years, and will continue..

I started with APRS droid and a BaoFeng UV5R. The connection was difficult because of the squelch settings needed. And APRS Droid is less intuitive than its iOS counterpart. I am now using an FT2DR with a Mobilinkd TNC3 and an iPad with the APRS.fi application (pay for the upgrade). I now track my activity with gps and send text/email without the need for cell or internet service on my end. Great program for those wanting any of these tools with their amateur radio!

Hi, Thanks for a GREAT product. Is it possible to quit the app and when restarted, resume where it was previously? Every time I start the app it starts in Europe, not the the same continent where is shut down. Thanks Again Dwight

The app is so much more convenient than using the website. It does everything I need or want. Tem N5KWL.

It does everything I want it to, and very easy to use! I get the square deal so the developer get some money. I’ve had it for a year and a half. I love it.

Usually it works well, but today it said that the service could not be reached even though I was told that it was beaconing.

Love it when it works, but it is inconsistent. Accurate about 60% of the time. Often wrong date or wrong location.

This is the best app I found for APRS I really love it!

I have been using for YEARS.. IS GREAT, even when confronted with. APE-ERS from other developers.. This deal works for Automatic Position Reporting System.. Solid and Consistant

I’m using the app with a Mobilinkd TNC3. I’m finding the interface to be easy to use and straight forward. I would like to see the ability to send and receive APRS messages as well as straight packet.

This app is not only difficult to use, it is not at all like the online aprs.fi site that displays APRS maps, stations, and functions for free.

I use it almost daily. Very useful.

It is working as advertised and meets my expectations.

Just started using APRS. Found this app very easy to learn and use. Thanks a lot.

Now my radio is sending correctly (Yaesu FTM-400) I show up on the map. I want my 98 year old Dad to be able to track me when on the road. Works great.

Message feature doesn’t work. No way to enter acceptable ssid. Can’t edit once set up. Unusable! And apparently no support either.

App was already expensive relative to other apps, then there’s a subscription fee in order to make it useful. Im sure its a brilliant app, but the additional fees were not expected. I probably would have passed if i realized that.

APRS.FI doesn’t seem to update my position for hours at times, even those I have pressed the beacon button.

Disappointed that is won’t send data to APRS-IS. Makes is useless for tracking assets during a public services event. I should have read the notes better I guess
