Incredible useful app with so many features much more accurate than other weather apps my only gripe is the layout and ui

There may be better apps, but I don’t know what they would be because I never have a reason not to open this app. I open it all the time I even live in a very cloudy area, but I wanna know when of those clouds gonna pass and if you can get that little Crosshairs directly over your house, which is easier to do you’re gonna have reliable readings. It takes the data that is available to everybody and makes it tailored specifically for people who need to see through the atmosphere.

This app has introduced me to so many useful tools. It’s my go-to app everyday to see what things will look like while I cross my fingers for ideal conditions for astrophotography. And the non-paid version isn’t intensely annoying with ads or anything, almost like the app makers care how it feels to use the app! What an idea!

Forecasts have a high degree of inaccuracy on the free plan. I’ve had nights where it said conditions were bad and it was going to be cloudy when they ended up being perfect, and vice versa. Cloud forecast has been wrong several times. The app tells you to buy a subscription to have access to accurate forecasts.

Its nice to have a great app to provide cloud overview - now all I need is clear skies!

Astrospheric is the best Astro app there is period!! End of debate.

I’ve found no better way to get cloud forecasts than this app, or the much clunker to use website cleardarksky. This is so much more convenient, and the premium subscription, giving you more weather models to look at, is even better. Worth it if you have the money to spare.

I’ve used Astrospheric for years and love nearly everything about it — it’s an incredible tool for planning astrophotography. However, the temperature data for Arizona is consistently 8–12°F too low, making dew and temperature planning unreliable. Other apps are accurate within 1°F. Please fix or improve the temperature source — this app would be perfect, and I’d subscribe instantly if it were accurate.

This app is the most accurate I’ve used yet. Worth every penny.

Works smoothly.

I hate how accurate this app is when it tells me it’s gonna be cloudy at night, ha! If it says it is… it is. If it says it’s gonna be clear, feel assured to spend hours setting up all your gear ;-)

It’s a great app, there is very little to complain about, I do wish that it had the colongitude included in the lunar data.

We are coming off of the 2024 eclipse where Astrospheric was instrumental in helping us find a clear location to catch totality. Someone the morning of the eclipse added a feature that linked to live satellite views of cloud cover - absolutely brilliant. Thank you so much for making such a robust, easy to use, well coded app. You made our eclipse experience amazing! Also also, using this app for general weather or more importantly, stargazing is the best app you can possibly use. I want to shout

I really like Astrospheric: it gives consistently reliable weather and seeing forecast. I use it all the time for my solar imaging and never lets me down.

Does exactly what I want it to do

Love the app but would be nice to see the components that go into the seeing rating.. and also might add at least jet stream speed.

My go to Astrophotographer app!

I really like the usefulness of this app. I don’t waste time putting up equipment and can plan my astrophotography sessions with a good deal of confidence. My only complaint is I have a pro subscription but continue to see ads. What’s up with that? Would have given 5 stars otherwise.

Fantastic app, it was built with love and intention. Works like a charm.

Interface has an amazing amount of data at a glance. An irreplaceable resource to help me figure out where and when I can shoot with my telescope.

What a great app!

I love this app, but the cloud motion aspect is terrible sometimes even with a good cell signal. For example, I can watch a Netflix movie on my cell phone right this moment, but the animation part of Astrospheric won't work. This is unacceptable for those of is that take our astrophotography to remote dark sights. This aspect really needs to improve.
