I love the app!! I would rate five stars, but email texts are getting through somehow now. They weren’t before. All of them are from Indeed scammers asking me to submit an application to their WhatsApp phone number. I’ve had about four of these texts in two weeks.
As a senior citizen, I appreciate the help with fraud prevention
didn’t know what was available and I am excited about it
Nice app! This is the best Security app in the market! I love the VPN and Safe Browsing features!
The app itself works great! I used to get a million spam calls and texts and now I do not. The only two downsides I have found with this app are: it DRAINS your battery worse than any other app (even when you do not have the app running - it just drains from the background [54% of my battery usage to be exact and I have an iphone 15 pro]) and the fact that my kids use Alexa to call from home and that provides a random number (ATP) which gets blocked sometimes. Overall great app, hope they can
Since I downloaded this app from the App Store the spam calls have been blissfully silenced. However, when I try to setup the allow my contacts feature, it’s not working. I’ve tried using the help tool and the chat feature is useless. If I could get help with this I would definitely give this app 5 stars.
Great app that blocks unwanted calls. Could you please reduce the power consumption?
Overall the app works great. Spam calls blocked but text needs work especially political messaging. Biggest problem right now is allowing contact feature isn’t working. I had to turn it off to get a medical call which wasn’t on my contacts and after turning it back on it won’t upload contacts. Gives me error code 70-80-30. Please address this and fix.
While I really like the app, I noticed that over time, the local phone storage container “documents and data” for this app balloons up very quickly… not knowing what’s specifically stored in there, and having no ability to purge it from within the app, one would assume that an app that’s supposed to filter and protect would not gather so much data to store (which can be over or multiple gigabytes worth). A nice enhancement would be an option to purge it back to zero within the app interface, so
Just added AT&T’s ActiveArmor and updated my system software as it suggested and now Active Armor is crashing.
I have missed a lot of calls because this filter absolutely everything that’s not in your contacts list. Doctors, college, etc. not a problem if they leave a voicemail, but many people just don’t so you never know unless you scan the active armour list from time to time. Would be nice to have a on off button for when you are expecting to get a call. Instead I have just decided it’s time to uninstall it for now. Great app otherwise, just needs some more features.
Seems to work most of the time as I get notices that a spam call was blocked. Just got a call and went to report it and the site read, “Did we let a spam call get throught?” I think you mean for this to be “through” not “throught”. I lost a little faith in the programmers because of this.
I had been receiving at least 10 spam calls a day. I downloaded this app a few weeks and I get maybe 1 a day. When I do, I make sure to report it on the app. Definitely recommend.
The VPN is always on - whether I’m on a secure Wi-Fi network or not - or even the AT&T mobile network. Not good for battery performance.
After I open my app my network says it’s encrypted and don’t know why that is?
It appear that the vpn defaults to always on even if I were to turn it off. For example, I don’t need it when I am at home or on 5g. This thing flips on even after I turned it off multiple times.
I'd take the old AT&T Call Protect back in a heart beat. This app gets stuck at loading 8 out of 10 times. Uninstalling and reinstalling doesn't do any good. Ran a latest update seems to work ok for a short time and there problem comes right back
Without a doubt, the app works. Blocks who it’s supposed to. However it’s slow and doesn’t load all the time. Lots of bugs.
not compatible with large fonts on phone, cannot finish setup process
hello, having a lot issues with slow response to the “calls” section and blocking numbers. I have uninstalled and reinstalled app and updated to the latest version. not sure what else can be done.
Although useful, it does have calls slip past, and the reporting process in inexplicably slow. It is far and away the slowest app on my phone, and it stays that way regardless or network or restart. This unfortunate situation discourages reporting.
I’m not sure what’s going on but when I have wifi security/vpn enabled that this app installs my wifi goes from 300/300 to just 30/30. Other than that, this app seems good!
I will like to see my app to scan alive the apps I have on my phone or the pages I been seems to me this app is dead
Mobile security helps me to manage multiple items, thanks.
Having a issue with my calls and numbers being forwarded to a 4106934248 number and have no way of disabling this issue….. any suggestions?
I’m upset I have to pay more for vpn security when I’m with this service. It removed my vpn from settings out of no where and says unlock on the wifi section and said I need to pay which isn’t fair at all.
What a great way to see multiple VPNs are in use
VPN by the hosting cellular provider… enough said!
I get the feed back that I need everyday. When there is a problem it tell me in complete details how to solve the problem.
I like it lets me know when things need to be done fixed
Hello! My name is Ella I am very insecure of my phone. With this I can tell if I have been hacked or my information had been leaked! Thank you so much. :)
I get six screen notifications for many blocked calls and each has exact same time. Would be great to get just one. App is good other than that on iPhone eight
Need help with mobile security Plus IOS app subscription not working on my IPhone 11 Pro Max
The VPN is always on even when I’m on my homes secure net work, so it’s not functioning as the app says it would when it only turns on when I join open networks. iOS 15.2
Might be ok if you spend the money for their subscription. Without it, it lets you know that your OS is up-to-date and you have a pin set.
I find this security service informative and helpful.
Better than version and t mobile just like everything else. Spot on att spot on!
It is fine for blocking calls. Now block all the unwanted texts I keep getting, especially the xxx rated texts that I keep getting.
When I got this app, I said goodbye to unwanted calls. Thanks ATT
Amazing! Really safety protocol!
When I finished setting up the app after adding my email etc it immediately said my information was leaked which made me delete the app asap
4 Negative User Reviews for AT&T ActiveArmor℠
On one hand it has kind-of cut down spam calls, but the app now glitches. Says “spam sent to voicemail” when it hadn’t been. No longer show blocked when you manually block a number. Doesn’t let you see spam reports from other users. It used to work 100%. Not any more.
My iPhone battery is draining rapidly and Active Armor is consistently the #1 or #2 app consuming the most power. When I uninstall it, battery life improves. Pleas fix this, AT&T.
Probably 60-70% of my spam calls are blocked. The app becomes painfully painfully painfully slow if you click on the call log button. One button takes several attempts to register over a period of 15 seconds. The other issue after the 6.5 release is calls, when you mark them as spam/fraud, they are no longer flagged. They do get blocked on the local device but something changed in the latest release so manually blocked calls no longer get flagged as how I have categorized them.
Do you get better blocking by paying extra or more hype?
