I enjoy the chance to record when I have a need to. Now days it seems I’m doing it a lot and I’m grateful for that. Thank you.

I highly recommend this app. Pros are that the recordings are clear and there is long limit on their duration as long as you have the space. Transferring the recordings to others can be challenging and a bit quirky. Quite often it takes several steps to move a recording somewhere so that it can be shared or edited.

Love this and how it transcribes my words into content for the work that I do!!

I found this app with the ability to transcribe so valuable. I wish it would do it during a call on the same device but in my case, I have to to put my cell phone in speaker mode and hold it next to my iPad which records it and makes a nice transcription of the entire call, it works very well and gets most of the transcription correct with very little post call modifications needed before it automatically sends a copy to my email..

I’ve been using this very stable platform for years!!!! Totally recommend it. The only problem that I recently had is when I went to play back a recording, it sounded very slow. I couldn’t figure out how to fix it. Would like for that fix be in FAQs.

Love this app. Most of it is reliable and well thought out. I tried the transcription, and it’s not so good, but it’s not much worse than Otter which I paid $100 for. Also better handling of fast forward, audio quality, as well as manipulating files, including exporting. When that subscription comes up for renewal, I’ll let it go and keep using AudioMemos. Maybe an AI style transcriber will turn up I can use to compliment it.

This app records and plays back easily + you can send the recordings from within the app.

Overall pretty darn good. (Paid version) Ipad 2 with 16 gig. IOS 6.1 Sometimes crashes, however, most likely when I ask the program to do something while it is compressing a file. In my book, not an issue. Sure would like to record in mp4 format rather than Wav format. Saves the time of compression. I send the files to my clients email and 15 Meg is about it. Cheers, Charles

My files keep disappearing

I use this app nearly every day to record thoughts and ideas. It’s also super useful to record meetings.

Is it possible to record via regular mic on my phone while playing sound back through my bluetooth headphones? The only way I could find to record using the mic on my phone was to set it to use internal hardware, but then when I play it back, it plays through my phone speakers. If I turn this off, it automatically records via bluetooth. It seems there should be a way to record via the internal mic, while playing it back via my bluetooth headphones. If not, please fix this. Also, voice activation

This app had it all till iOS sometime early 2022. Features used to be able to be restored after iOS updates, but variable speed playback has sadly disappeared. I use(d) this to help learn difficult music and desperately hope the feature returns before I seek another app. If it does I promise to revise to 5 stars!

This app is fantastic, picks up audio, even in crowded meetings, well. Highly recommend!
