16 Positive User Reviews for AUM
An amazing iPhone app for musicians!
It’s crazy how sophisticated and powerful iPhones have become. I remember having to manually program drum machines in the 80s, only being able to do midi on macs in the 90’s, barely being able to do multitrack recoding on PCs in 2000s.
Now all of that can all be done on your iPhone using AUM - an app that glues sequencing, third party synths/effects into an integrated host.
AUM is definitely a well designed and high quality piece of audio software (that’s coming from a guy that has been a mus
Amazing Audio routing and mixing app.
I wrote a longer review twice but my iPad kept closing the window and erasing it. So I’m gonna be brief. Buy this app if you are even considering it, amazing workflow capabilities and awesome dev who obviously cares about improving their software! 20 bucks is nothing for this level of functionality.

Spend a lot of time here / it’s amazing.
Elegant Functionality
AUM is practically a work of art, so few thinks are left to be desired. However, I do desire the ability to visually group channels, to collapse the groups, and expand them, like code folding in an IDE. It would improve my workflow, and help me focus. Tips and Best Wishes!
Great App, with 1 weakness
Great app, pretty much an essential on both my IPad and using IPad apps with my desktop, it’s an amazing mixer for all my iPad instruments and affects and then some. The only weakness is that it doesn’t receive midi sync, which is pretty sad. For instance Id love to be able to sequence my hardware synth with my MPC and record them into AUM and have AUM wait for a midi sync signal to start recording. I wish the developer knew how amazing that would be , but every app has at least on major flaw. O

Many musicians would love to also incorporate visuals in sync with their music
You have audio and MiDi mixing, input, and output…. I would love it if it had the ability to host video players or a vj app
Brand NEW ios musician
I am brand new to making music on iOS and have been fumbling around and doing research in all realms and finally came upon AUM being something that every musician should have… the more I use it the more I discover… I originally thought it was just a random mixing app but it is much much more… it has become the glue that holds all of music apps together in one convenient place… once you get past the initial learning curve you be be pleasantly surprised again and again when you unearth more and mo
Essential
I can’t fathom an iOS music creation workflow that doesn’t include AUM.
Indispensable for musicians! If you don’t have it...
...you should!!! It gets used almost every day around here. Wonderful app. Absolute must-have along with AudioShare. Kymatica apps are some of the best iOS music apps available.
LFOs is all we need
Everyone who makes music on iOS needs this app. Thank you so much for all your hard work in developing AUM. I only ask for one more thing; built in LFOs for all the app parameters. Please consider this. Thanks again.
The Best
This is a MUST HAVE application. The best. End of story
GET IT NOW
The most unsmart thing you can do is think “I already have a DAW, what’s the point of AUM…” uhhh not sure why I waited this long to finally get it. Worth the money.
The best and really easiest app for live use with an iPad
AUM is a must have app if you want to use an iPad live. The ease of use. MIDI implementation, and ability to layer and structure channels, stack keyboards, and sync tempos is phenomenal. It’s taken my bands live show to another level. About as flexible and easy to learn as one could want. Just fantastic.
Staple
Amazing app and essential imo. Ultimate creative playground.
New update is a game changer. Amazing work!
Now you can swipe right on any plugin or synth and see individual CPU usage and how many ms it adds to your signal. Helping you decide which ones are worth keeping in your signal chain and workflow.
Thank you for the hard work!
