AutoPad — Ambient Pad Loops App Reviews

I try and send my friend a mp4 and he says it’s not working. I have an iPhone he has an andrioid. Do I need to convert it to a mp3?

Just get it if you’re on the fence. Maybe you’re like me and won’t use it every day…but when I need it on the fly, I am sooo glad I have it. One-click, and I have a pad running…It’s the best simple, reliable, and good-sounding stock Pad sound app that I’ve had. And it keeps getting updates. Fantastic. I’m a huge fan of the click options and am likely to use the MIDI options in the near future! It even has an option to change the tuning frequencies; I like playing around with 432 hz personally. E

This was a multiple times a week use for me, literally the perfect app, exactly what I was looking for. Until it just stopped working. Click still works, but i get absolutley no pads anymore. Hoping there's a fix for this.

I have been using this app for a long time now and really appreciate the developer creating this! It is even more useful to me now that I can use it on my iPad Pro! Keep up the great work and look forward to seeing some new features!

I’m not sure about the midi I can’t find a way to connect with my piano I’ve tried Bluetooth and wired and still don’t seem to get a response I will be glad to get a feedback if I am doing anything wrong.

I use it as pads under an acoustic guitar for youth worship. We use MultiTracks in our main service, but their default pad is boring and additional pads are expensive, so I wanted something else for youth. I bought this and the sound packs and brought in some others as well (AeroSpace Audio), all for a reasonable amount. Setting it up for midi with an MPD218 was a game changer and made it even easier to use. I do have a few improvement suggestions (mostly regarding midi) if the developer is ever

I love this app, I use it every time I play at any given church - ranging from 90 to 300 ppl

I trialed a couple of different pad apps on my iPad before deciding on this one for our church services. The included and optional pad sounds are outstanding and the ability to import pads from other sources is totally great! I especially appreciate the ability to edit sounds used for a song once it’s in a set list as well as the ability to drag and drop songs to a different slot in a set list if you want to change the order once the list is built. This seemed to be the one app that does EVERYTH

Charged twice for grainscapes pads. Program doesn’t download correct pad purchased. Every time the software downloads the bonus pad sounds instead of the grainscapes pads. The bonus pads are free. Problem was taken care of and was able to download correct pads.

Be sure you turn on save battery or close app fully after using. Not sure what it is doing in the background but it kills my battery when I’m not even using it.

The app is great I wish there was a way to also have minor chords or even major 7 chords

Reliable and simple, and the sounds are excellent! I typically just use the standard default sound while playing acoustic to add a little more to my sound. Love it!

Would love it if this app could make ambient chords in addition to many ambient octaves of a single note. This would be super useful to me if there was a similar pad with major and minor chords lumped together by key or something. The app would be unstoppable!

we have been trying to fill out our sound at church and this app is amazing!! i absolutely love it and couldn’t recommend it more that i do!!

My only thing I noticed was that the pad would stop playing after 10-20 minutes. I would have to close the app and reopen it to get it to play again.

I just realized that I have all of the developer’s apps. They are all superb.

The interaction, the user experience is very well thought through. I was able to organise and perform with my acoustic guitar very easily. I felt confident in delivering a good performance with AP beside me. My setup included the iRig2 with an ¼" output to the sound board on my iPhone. Sweet deal. Looking forward to using AP always.

This app works great and sounds great on my iPad. However under Monterey on macOS it is standalone and I can’t get it in Logic Pro X. This app needs to be AU with a component to be useful on the Mac.

Now with midi I think this will be alot better for droning. I imagine you can use another synth with this on mac, but ive only used ios. Hails to this for the simple yet great concept.

A simple design with rich samples. This app helps set the atmosphere and I love the low / high pass filter options!

Great application. Use it all the time. But Set List mode midi doesn’t work when used in AUM.

This a great app, however the 3.5min limitation on imported pads is a dealbreaker for me. I want to use “Motion Pads” that have a chord progression while our worship leader is talking between songs, which often lasts longer than 3.5min. So not only does it choose a random starting position in a longer sound file, it also cuts it off and restarts it right at 3.5min. Not ideal during talking or prayer times. Will change to 5 stars when that limitation is removed.
