Avy: Avalanche & Weather Info App Reviews

The layout fits well with the workflow for planning a backcountry outing. The av forecast -> weather forecast -> weather data and telemetry -> zone observations. The collapsible menus on the forecast page allow for easier navigation and top/bottom banners enable easy switching between content areas. The recently added page share feature will work great for collaborative tour planning. Thanks y’all!! 🙌🏻

The app provides a great mobile experience for checking the avy forecast. The tables and problems are much easier to read in the app then online. The caching of the forecast of is a great bonus feature for checking there conditions when you are out of service.

It is now easier than ever for me to view the forecast. This app is now another tool in my belt for when i am planning a ski tour. Thanks NWAC! Excited to see this app continue to evolve.

This is the first app review I’ve written, but I’m so pleased with how this has turned out that I have to say as much. For me, it’s been a skis-on-easy transition from my old routine of keeping various tabs open (key stations, weather and avy forecasts, etc.). The interface puts the top line info front and center while still letting me reach the details as needed. Great work!

Huge upgrade over saving links. New app seems seamless, super easy to navigate (much better than website for viewing on mobile). The access to weather station data in 2 clicks is personally my favorite. Thanks devs!!

I love this app. So intuitive and easy to use. All my winter backcountry info real-time and readily available. A must have for backcountry travelers.
