Axis & Allies 1942 Online App Reviews

The developers fixed the issues for:earlier this year. Game play is awesome. Would like to be able to chat with opponents like we could in Ambition but that’s a minor thing. I am hoping they release some new maps, especially the Anniversary Edition map with Italy and Dominions. Best on iPad but playable on an iPhone 12 mini. If you love Axis and Allie’s you will love this game. I like playing with friends. It would be nice if I had the ability to just add them when I create a game rather

It is a great game easy to control your troops and their is a very friendly intro at the beginning to get you started

Tried everything from uninstalling and reinstalling. When I start the app it simply does not load. Not a black screen but rather a cloud screen then just blanks back to my phone screen. Went looking for an update but no luck (I’m guessing that any patches would already be in the app as I downloaded it only a couple days ago. Giving 3 stars based on other reviews that get to actually play the game AND the fact that I used to play this as a board game and absolutely love it. Please fix this and I’

Love the game. I’ve played at least 50 games since I downloaded a couple months ago. Once I adjusted my settings to deal with the graphics glitches, it works great on my iPad. However… the AI is stuck in the purchase phase right now of a game. Anybody else have this happen??

…You’ll love the app. Works fine on the iPad. No dice necessary… just a good combined arms strategy.

Solid game play and syncs with my version on Steam.

Like the title says. Game does a mini crash and reloads, music stops playing and battles replay multiple times and sometimes never stop looping. Edit: changed the settings per the dev and it works now

Thank you guys for fixing the black screen issue! No more reloads or black screen issues. Game plays as it should. One of my favorite games on iOS. If you read the bad reviews just know that there was a major issue causing the entire screen to be black but they fixed it! Redownloaded the game just now!

Game runs great now. It will occasionally crash on start up but then I reload it and no issues. It’s a great companion app to the desktop version. I mostly play on the computer but I like the ability to play on the go too and keep my games moving along.

Great adaptation of the board game. Takes a game of two to get used to the interface, but easy to use. Highly recommend using a tablet instead of your phone.

Great game and well done electronic version of board game but please fix audio. Audio crashes to complete silence not even after completing one round.

Good game, but will glitch out after one round of combat and crash the game. When I try to reload, it will not allow me to continue playing.

On the iPhone 13 pro max the game will not play … freezes after selection of countries … anyone else getting this to work ?

Had a few of my online games on my iPad froze and unable to reopen them forcing me to forfeit. Restarted my system and also disabled the additional graphics but this didn’t seem to fix it.
