Played computer best out of three. First game I had a gammon, second game computer won with a gammon. Game ended and stated computer won match. Can someone please explain scoring rule. Should there not have been a third game for the win?

Can’t figure out how to add my friends to play with them

The way it cheats has to make you laugh at a certain point. If you have three places covered in your court it comes in every time. it’s as if they weren’t there. Fun to play, as long as you don’t mind playing against an opponent that is unbelievably ‘lucky’ with the dice. Still fun to play, though. Manually rolling the dice, gives you an entirely different result.

No unnecessary bells and whistles, just world-class backgammon on the expert level. Just play on Expert with instruction enabled($) and try to improve your percentages. It is NOT cheating, it's just better than you unless, you're one of the top dozen players in the world.

This player will change his name to incorporate other players names and attach to profanity or use names like other players and act rudely disguised as that player . He is a 2170 player…please kick him off app

I purchased the analysis capability several years ago. It was supposed to be forever. It worked fine until recently when it said I needed to purchase the analysis capability to use that feature.

Get this. Its a well thought ought amazing online game. I have game friends in every timezone and can play 24 hours a day.

I just upgraded to iOS 16.1, and not I cannot exit app on iPhone without re-booting phone. Any help would be appreciated

Excellent design and tracking. Feels like the computer knows what dice rolls are coming so it knows when to double and/or hit your pieces. Best backgammon product for iPhone.

Dice are fair. The computer player is pretty good. Backgammon is the cruelest game.

It has everything except it can't make coffee. The rolls are pretty darn fair. I couldn't find any problem with them. Even if you might think they are unfair there are enough adjustments in settings to make you feel better. I have to refuse the temptation to "cheat" using hints when I run into a problem. This can be great for learning but sometimes I get lazy and keep wanting to hint to a win. Shame on me.

The app is amazing! Great and all the customizaiton you could want. Controls and UI are also great! But there's a bug when playing on my desktop. For turn based games I only see that my oponent played if I quit and reopen the app. There is no notification. Can you please try and fix? Let me know if there is any way I can help debug. Thanks for an amazing app!

Something is fishy with those rolls

My perception is there’s something odd about dice rolls. But it just makes it sweeter when I do win. Would like a button that shows the list of rolls and moves as the game progresses.

My favorite backgammon app mainly because of its excellent multiplayer support.

Best backgammon Game On Here. Too Bad It Duper Cheats. Catches You Every Time. I Would Give It A 5 If It Didn’t Cheat Like This. But Otherwise…A Very Good Game…

I have used Backgammon NJ and HD for years and have enjoyed it.

It feels totally artificial. The dice are so loaded and predictable it’s depressing. It takes three rolls for me to come in, where in the same situation the computer comes in EVERY TIME. After a while it’s really boring.

This is the best backgammon app out there, but I can’t help thinking that it’s rigged. It always manages to get the exact rolls it needs, and gives itself lots of doubles when bearing off.

If you’re interested in improving your game, this is by far the best I’ve seen, better than BG Galaxy…. I recommend the complete analysis package!

You learn the formulas of this Backgammon Game. Barley winning and opposition rolls doubles and wins. But I am addicted...what does that say?

The moves are quick and precise. Just what you are looking for. You can easily set random numbers and use built in options. I have tried dozens. This is a keeper

I’ve played this app for years. Mostly fun, but in the Hard and Expert settings, the computer can simply roll you off the board and never let you back on. I’ll have to try the manual rolls.

This app is an excellent teaching tool for those who wish to improve their skills.

When in multiplayer Game Center mode, the game constantly crashes. The developer says that Apple Gamecenter is the problem, but surely there’s a workaround.

Yea, it's got improvements, but it still doesn't give you a win when the other guy bails.

I used to consider myself to be a really good player, but this app actually helped make me a really good player!

Good but on e open on my iphone i cant lose

It’s so easy to think you played a bad game because you lost or a good game because you won. This app helps you evaluate your game objectively. I’m still not a great player, but my game has improved significantly.

The following was a canned offering that I cannot disagree with. Follows standard moves for aggressive players; great learning tool most of the time. Almost never makes dumb moves unless it's being really aggressive. Strongly recommended.

My most used leisure app. Great game combining skill and luck; believe the dice rolls are random as advertised. Except when I lose ;-) Expert level is very challenging.

Move ratings differ greatly from experts. Also amazing the amount of times entry with opponent only having the 6 point or 3 point covered. It’s a nice app why is it rigged?

I win most games when I play in the easy mode. Go figure. It’s more pleasing to win every now and again. In expert mode, I rarely won.

Game shuts off unexpectedly when playing on iPad.

In the first five games I got doubles once. AI got doubles SIXTEEN times. What a joke!
