I have the purchased app. The computer dice rolls are high number multiple double. My doubles are ones, no high numbers. The computer single rolls are high numbers, mine low number like 2/1. Clearing off the computer rolls two to three double. Me one or two several times. The game should be challenging and not cheat with dice rolls. This is unfair. I’m canceling my subscription and the app.

I enjoy playing this game.

That is, unless you constantly re-roll the dice. Optime: ask AI to write you a better algorithm, eh? 🙄🙄🙄

is it possible to make the dice rolls completely random??? Enough with levels. “Hard” totally cheats!

Good optic and easy to use! Once you move to “hard” the computer cheats!

I paid for premium but yet they still force me to see commercials and it is breaking my flow to play games. This is new. I paid so I can stop commercials.

Lately the game freezes when I hit “Undo”. I have to remove the app from my ipad and reload it, otherwise it doesn’t respond. Seems this app is no longer supported?

Great app; cheats horribly. Here’s how I deal with it: don’t just undo to change your move, undo your actual dice roll itself. This sometimes beats the cheat. If it doesn’t, I will undo until I can thwart the cheat… either by blocking its move, or by taking it out completely if I can! Sometimes involves multiple undos, but I feel vindicated for beating the cheat! Would be a five star game without the cheats, but I can only give it three stars. Buyer beware.

Like many others I complained about rigged dice at HARD level. Recently however it seems more fair and more exciting. Perhaps they noticed the complaints and readjusted it. In any case, I’m enjoying it much more now.

I sure would love an opportunity to resign a game when it’s clear that I’m just going through the motions of taking stones off the board but that I’m going to lose. It’s really just a waste of time.

On Hard level, there’s something wrong with the logic. The amount of doubles that get rolled is statistically hard to believe. I enjoy playing the game but there are times when everything seems to go the computer player’s way. It’s like their version of hard is to give the computer an unfair advantage, not purely strategic.

Without the ads it is a fun game.

The host gets doubles 10 times more often than the player, makes it not much fun to play.

Sometimes hangs up and I have to delete the app and reinstall it.

This Game could be great if they fix the automatic move when there is a one. Sometimes it moves by itself. Also, it would be great to have a resign button to speed up play when it’s obvious that the game cannot be won

Would be great in hard mode if computer rolls were truly random. It is way too coincidental how many doubles and exactly needed moves computer rolls. Also often won’t give rolls to jump computer open men.

It is obvious that this update is not for the animation, please be kind and add statistics to the game

This game is much better than others I have played. My main nitpick is that the pips move slowly after a player has selected his or her move.

I’d like to see my total wins versus losses.

Loved this game for a long time but, since ios 15 the game is really jumpy. Long delay between rolling dice and moving , computer moves are invisible. Hope they update soon. Now works with iOS 15, thanks for fixing.

I play this game A LOT in expert mode. I can’t help believe the algorithms the developers use are by chance. I think the game would be much better if the dice roll was indeed random. Just the same it engages my mind and helps clear the brain fog.

Do not like the new board. The previous one was much nicer, easier on the eyes. Could I get the previous one back? The computer gets way too many doubles, and it always seems to get just the role it needs when you leave a piece open.

Very attractive game that I enjoyed since I was a kid . The setting is awesome .

This game makes you really use your brain. Great for killing time while you wait for the bus.

Good game play and nice graphics, one of my top time wasters. Bugs: runs but can't exit on iPhone OS 13. In the “modern” interface stones make a strange little bounce when coming off the center bar.

Doesn’t avoid backgammon when thats the obvious move. Accepts bets when with odds against it are too high. Sometimes makes strange moves like uncovering 4 pieces in front of its opponent. Has a very realistic looking board.

This game occupies my time and is a challenge as well. One of my all time favorites

Why “fix” what was perfect. I hate the new version. The dice are way too small, especially for people with vision issues. And I liked how the game board looked before. Now it looks incomplete, no borders etc.

Some times it doesn’t seem that the result of the rolling of the dice is totally mere luck

I enjoyed the challenge of the old screen .... now I love the new screen , it’s pleasing to look at , an now the game seems to be more challenging .

The app works fine, but I hate the new interface.

A recent update changed the color and I don’t like it. I haven’t found a way to change it, I hope there is a way. If there is a way to change the background it should be easier to find.

Fun game. Wish the program would play more strategically. Leave pieces in opponents home area when losing in an effort to hit a blot for example.

I don’t like the new upgraded luck of backgammon… It looks cheap and not as classy as the old one

Too many doubles. Not realistic.

Unfortunately the behavior of the undo button has changed in iOS 18. For example if you roll a 6,1 and you want to use the “1” first, that is no longer possible. So basically it’s not backgammon anymore. Please fix this because I paid for this game and also because it’s one of the best ones available (or rather, it was)

Like others who have reviewed the game, I have experienced the computer player somehow getting precisely the roll needed to knock me off the board a large percentage of the time as well as winning almost every opening roll, but worst of all is that once the game comes down to a race, the computer will roll double after double. These are often large doubles (5s or 6s). I just watch it win 3 games in a row where the computer player rolled at least 3 and in one case 5 large doubles in a row to win

Good game, BUT the computer seems to have an abundance of doubles and perfect rolls, when needed. Seems rigged in favor of the computer opponent.

I do enjoy the game, and like the idea of a new look - just not this one.

I love this game.. always have. This last update makes the board hard to see. It also looks more cartoon like love the updates except the way we view the board. All in all it’s one of the best backgammon games I’ve played ..

Used to love it and played a dozen times a day. Now instead of looking like a real backgammon board, it’s like a cartoon for preschoolers.
