Backyard Baseball '01 App Reviews

I love the backyard sports series and this game is the best out of all of them but the input delay makes me infuriated, i thought i just had skill issue but the input kind of ruin the game so please fix this and I will be happy

January 2026…I haven’t had any problems with this game. 95% the same as it was back in the day.

Please bring back backyard hockey to mobile

I missing having Ken Griffey Jr and Frank Thomas but game play sped up with a 1.5 or 2 x option would be nice

I said 4 stars because a lot of maps secret character and the pros are good but why did they make Pablo’s running and ptiching different from 1997 and why did I get a error from scvmm that there was a error and make Amir a better hitter he deserves it

So I was playing the game right and I decided to try out batting practice like how I used to do when I played on PC but when I tried to hit it would not work and would be bugged out no matter which player I picked please fix this soon devs I love y'alls game and wanna se backyard baseball 03 added love y'all.

It’s exactly like I remember it! I remember playing this for hours. My only complaint is that the empty space on either side makes the playing field hard to use due to size constraints

Fun idea to bring these games back, but I have the same issue with this one as the last one. The controls suck. Putting the switch stance right in the middle is horrible. Just need the controls to be on each side of the playing screen.

The negative reviews were mostly about slow gameplay. I assumed that was an older version and they meant glitchy or whatnot. Not the case. It’s just a SLOW game to play. The delay between every pitch is like 5 seconds. Not bad but if you’re looking for a FAST/quick game to play, don’t buy this. Really they need an option for “fast play” that cuts out all delays, animations (bat twirling, walk up, etc). I mean, it’s really neat, but just way too slow for me.
