Very useful app. Definitely due for an update. It’s very slow and kicks you out randomly.

I’ve never left an Apple review but had to for this app. Made installing my balusters on an angled rake so easy. I’ve never done this type of work before and this made it a no brainer.

Just got this app to lay out deck railings and it made this job so easy. Only wish I had it years ago. Thanks JR

After spending an hour doing math to layout interior balusters I broke down and purchased this app. A few minutes later and I was installing them. Great resource!

This app is a must have for contractors. You can even use it to estimate how much material you'll need. A real time saver.

I just completed layout and installation of tapered balusters for my remodel and this app was much more than handy... It was huge time-saver. Every worked out perfectly and to code. Thanks for a great app!! Btw- iPhone 5 has digital angle finder built in to the "Compass" feature which works very well at getting the railing angle.

What an awesome find. Took all the guess work and calculations out of my project. Entered in a few basic numbers and then make the marks at the designated points. Could not be any simpler!! It took me less than 5 minutes to calculate 2 runs and a slope. THANK YOU!

You can use to do cabinets, wainscoting, coffer ceiling etc... Muito bom app, pode ser usado em varias coisas que leva layout

This is a fantastic tool. As a finish carpenter I use it almost daily for a variety of layout tasks not just baluster spacing. An invaluable app I think is a must have for any carpenter. Also new voice feature is pretty cool.

I'm a residential carpenter and I love this app! It has saved me some much time and money while at the same time making for a much nicer final product. I not only use the app to lay-out balusters but also to lay-out wainscoting, coffered ceilings, shelving and even fencing.

I just started using this app but so far I think it's terrific. It pretty much matches up with my own recipe to calculate baluster spacing but saves me all those math steps.

Apps don’t get more useful than this one. All those calculations nobody wants to make are made for you. Not only does this app work perfectly for balusters indoors and out, it gives you the layout for any project with spaced components. Then it reads you the numbers so you can mark with both hands.

It’s an okay, basic app. Works as described. It could use a few upgrades. 1 inch = 25.4mm. It only allows you to put in whole numbers for metric. It would be nice to have a visualization tool, so you can see how the balusters would look between the post. It would be nice to have the option to start with a center baluster and then space out evenly in each direction.

Have been using this app since the beginning when developed. Greg even sent me an email when he developed for android phone and asked for any input. I’m a trim carpenter and have used this app on hundreds of stairs. Such a big time saver. Not only works on balusters,but beams, decorative moldings on walls and other uses. Great app and time saver. The fatal flaw of your app is the limit on angles. I have an older house and the stairs are 51 degrees, your app wouldn’t allow me to enter anything above 40 if I remember correctly. Loosen your tolerance!
