This app is the best there is private bands and you can make one

I have used Band for nearly five years, and its tools and ease of use are incomparable. I have used many other apps such as Trello, Remind, Slack, GroupMe and Talking Points, but for parents, teachers and community groups, Band has been the most useful and consistent.

I use this app with my theater crew, works great for any last minute changes or updates in the group. Recommend! Perhaps add a bit more customization?

The app works but is difficult at times with scheduling. It doesn’t copy. The font is very small. I schedule a month at a time. Times change, sites change. Again font is small.

Ok, to start I love band it keeps our basketball team very organized and makes sure everyone is on the same page it also helps everyone see the player of the weeks and their photos witch everyone loves! THANK YOU SO MUCH EVERYONE WHO HELPS THE BAND APP THRIVE, AND THE PEOPLE WHO CREATED IT!

Been using Band for 4 years now and enjoy the features and structure that’s provided within the app to keep the line of communication going between parents, leaders and players.

Better than most apps out there. It’s easy to navigate it’s free and versatile.

I love the overall features of BAND: the announcements, calendar, and albums are super useful to my groups. I do wish there was a dedicated chat room instead of a limit to comments.

This app is so good for communicating with coaches and making sure you know what is going on in your team. This can also be any type of communication with anybody.

This app send ads via notifications, with no obvious way to turn them off.

band is such an amazing app, especially since my theatre uses it for choreography videos and schedules. who ever knew you could just click a screen and you’re next two weeks are planned? overall, great. one tiny unfortunate thing keeps happening to me though. i have a hotspot, but everytime i’m in the car trying to watch one of the videos they posted, it won’t load. i don’t know if it is the internet or just my phone, but it NEVER loads. 💀i just WISH this would stop happening. if ur still readin

Hello this is the best app ever! But as I open this app it keeps logging me out of it and I’ve deleted and downloaded many, many times. And I was just asking if you can please pretty please fix this bug because this app is what I need from my daughter’s coach’s reminders and game dates and other important information. Thank you very much and by the way I would say this is the best app I’ve ever seen anyone invented.

Whenever I try to go to the profile page either from settings or the home page the app freezes and I can’t access it!!

I love the app but there needs to be an undo option when typing posts. I’ve lost things I’ve typed when putting a #

I am a public school teacher and a mom, so I’ve tried a lot of different group chat apps, and this one by far has been the best one for organizing, and the most fun! Currently, I have 10 groups in my BAND and the organizational elements of this app help keep me sane through all of my groups. I refer to band so often throughout my year so that I don’t have to remember everything! My students love posting pictures and video and participating in the group chats. The updates options are really not good I hit update and it goes to the App Store and says open in app and it is the same thing over and over how can you update if it want just runs in a loop

Band is an ok app honestly it gets annoying that they technically time your calls but also it for some reason will not let me call but all in all it’s an ok app

I love band app it’s a great way to talk to coaches and teachers but I hate how much it loads when watching videos it’s so laggy and the quality is awful.

I use BAND for my cheer team. It is amazing. It helps the team keep up with the conditioning, the schedule, and cheers. I definitely recommend it to anyone who is included in some sort of activity, sport, or group that needs to keep in touch when not in person. AMAZING app. Couldn’t ask for more!

It doesn’t let me watch the videos that my coach sent to everyone so u need to fix that that’s the only problem

This is a great app. Only issue I have is. I can’t use it without WiFi and that’s so annoying. I have an iPhone 13pro and should be able to use it like all my other apps without WiFi.

the app is pretty good overall, but the only problem i have with it is when someone uploads videos and i try to watch it , even with good internet connection, it still lags badly and i cannot watch the videos with out the screen turning black or buffering.

The adding pictures feature is glitchy. I only have one shot at a prompt to add photos to upload per time I open the app. If I’d like to add more photos and be prompted again, I have to force-close the app and start all over. And, when the pics are uploaded, I have to come completely out of the add photos screen and go back on again in order for what I added to show up to be selected. It’s super annoying and IDK how I’ve been dealing with it all these years. Please fix this, I beg you.

This is an essential app for the arts program at my school. We use this for setting up events and posting tracks, choreography, etc. However, it’s sooo laggy. Everytime I click on a video to watch it, it takes a good minute for it to play. Even then, it often decides to stop playing out of nowhere. My main issue is with downloading videos. It refuses to download anything without me having to repeatedly tap on the download button for a good few minutes. Overall, I wish this app wasn’t so difficul

The app is amazing but it says chat temporarily disabled so I can’t talk to people

You have to actually click on the specific band you’re in to change it, not your profile from the Home Screen of band app, after that you just hit settings and it’s right there at the top, which in my opinion is a bit tedious. I had some trouble with this today but eventually overcame this hurdle of a communication issue. This app definitely has room to improve and has potential.

I have done updates on both Band and Apple and the service of the Band live stream is awful connection. Is there anything I need to do to make it better. Being his app since 2020 and the reception has not been this bad.

Things were fine until the update was pushed to my phone. Now it seems that iPhone users cannot save pictures from the app anymore. Please fix it!

It use to work fine but now when I try to open the app it just closes

It usually works pretty well. But after the most recent update it has limited what I can do. I can’t even go on the band app with out it lagging out. And the funny thing is I have a pretty updated phone so it ain’t because I have an outdated phone. Please get this fix so I can go on the band app without it lagging out

I am having a problem updating the new update. I have tried several times. I click where it says to update, it takes me to the app but nothing happens. I don't think I'm doing anything wrong! Won't update! Very disappointed!

Currently the Mac desktop app is buggy and will not let me post from my macbook pro M3 pro on the desktop app. Posts from my iphone works. I also wish it let me only turn on notifications for posts from specific individuals. There are literally hundreds of posts from people i don't need notified for, and if i have notifications turned on my phone is going off constantly at all hours of the day and night.

This app says it’s for twelve years old and up. I am twelve, and every time I put my birthdate in, it says I should get the band for kids app. See, I’m in the band at my school, and our band director wanted us to join this app for communication. I can’t now. Change this, please.

It unilaterally booted me off my page and won’t let me reconnect

Trying to send and receive messages does not work well. Clicking on a notification does not bring you to where the notification was sent. Navigating the thousands of menus is hard.
