Bandsintown Concerts App Reviews

I love that the app is often the first place I learn that someone I like has announced a show in my town. But the notifications can be annoying. There are some notification configuration options, but there needs to be something like “Dismiss notifications for this event.” I’m still interested in hearing next time the artist comes to town, but I’m either not going to this particular event or I already have tickets.

I love how they incorporate merch and everything for an artist

All the bands I love are in this app. Can keep track of the concerts you want to go to in one list. Follow the bands and you get updates on tours which is nice! Can follow venues as well to see who all will be coming there. If you love going to concerts you need this app!

Excellent way to find your favorite bands tour dates. Also gives you some really cool insight on the band.

Love the app so far. Had some difficulty adding concerts out of town and wish there was a way to add festivals too. Otherwise, it’s great!

The app not only lets me track bands I already know and like, it suggests other bands with similar styles and genres. I have found other bands that I have become a fan of due to these recommendations.

Grateful for this app keeping me in the loop

This app is great but has started having glitches with connectivity post Covid, everyone should have full access to see the bands and discover new ones. Would love to see it start tailoring to my musical tastes from the artists I follow or from my iTunes/Spotify playlists

Better than almost all of the other Apps for getting tickets to concerts, good information on seating and venues locations, great notifications on upcoming shows and events plus you can also sample the music of the bands. Buying tickets is simple and quick, no glitches like some other ticket companies have, they keep you updated on bands on tour by giving you notices on your phone. Overall it’s the best ticket outlet around. 5 Stars all the way

Since using this app, I feel like I’m more in the know about the bands that I follow! It’s very convenient, but more than that, it’s a way for bands to get their messages across.

Makes finding a show, buying a ticket and getting to a venue easy. Awesome app!!

Great app- easy to navigate and use. Love the information and how you can find your events by artist, venue, city or however you need to! I am always checking it to see what’s happening and where all my favorites are.

I feel like I would never delete this app because I can access easily to my artist concert schedule and tickets! It’s amazing!

I never miss a thing wherever I happen to be!

We live in a small city so concerts are usually 45 minutes or more away from us. This app makes it easy to know when our favorite artists will be nearby rather than signing up for notifications from numerous venues or websites. Everything is in one place.

It gives me the info I need to keep up with my favorite artist and where they will be playing.

Love Bandsintown! Makes it so easy to search and keep informed of all local concerts and when tickets will become available for purchase. Easy to access and love the updates! Ty!

I usually find out who’s in town after they left. This fixes that. Gracious

Works really well for bands and comedians. My main gripe is that it doesn’t follow tours of musicals. It’s really hard to keep up with that on my own especially because sometimes the show is in an adjacent city and so there’s no advertising where I am. If it could tell me when Les Mis was touring, or even let me just follow that specific tour on the app, that’d be the best.

This app is part of my daily update check for upcoming concerts for all the bands I love. 10/10

Get this app now

Update: I was finally able to update and enter the app on both of my devices. Using the app seems smooth so far. The app won’t let me in today, keeps sending me authorization emails but the app keeps spinning even after authorization. I have enjoyed this app and hope the log in issue will be resolved soon.

Keeps me up on all the local shows.

I wish that concerts happening in surrounding cities would pop up closest to my city without having to specifically search for them. Otherwise the app is great!

This is how I find out about 90% of shows around me and I have attended quite a few thanks to this app.

Music rules and this App has successfully helped me see many shows and fill up empty nights with live entertainment.

Get notified as soon as concerts are announced, no longer pay top dollar for decent seats!

Look/Design, Ease of Use

I enjoy finding out when and where the performance will be in my area in Maryland.

I love this app! I have used it on the road and found great live music last minute!

Before discovering BandsinTown I never knew when my favorite bands were performing. I love the early alerts and connecting with other fans.

So the app says there is an event with the Lonesome River Bluegrass Band on Jan.10,2026. Click anywhere even tickets and no mention of where “Liberty Showcase” is. Needs to be a “directions to” that takes you to a map so you can see the distance or… …Better yet, if you know my home address why not just show “Miles”… Or even how about just show the address of the event? Just sayin……
