I love the simple and easy design, accepting calls is so easy.

This app was created very nicely.

Good app, downloaded a few days ago and just got my first call, old blind dude, helped hik count cash and me and him talked about trucks and vehicles for a long while, super nice guy!

What definitely recommend if you want to help people in need

As a sighted volunteer, I appreciate the thoughtful design that has gone into this app that allows me to assist blind or vision-impaired users! It's easy to communicate, and I can even turn on the flashlight of the other user's phone so I can better assist them. The app's unique ringtone makes it easy to identify, so I can respond quickly. And after each call, it's easy to provide feedback, so the app experience can keep improving.

I like cupcakes

It would be nice to include in the app the phone number that will be calling so it can be saved as a contact. Otherwise it’s some random number and we don’t know if we should answer it.

I received my 1st call less than 24 hours after signing up. The experience was more gratifying than I ever expected! I was so proud of a woman I had never met because of her bravery to ask for assistance! Wishing her all the best!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Yesterday, I came across an Instagram reel about this app and decided to download it. Today, I got my first call from an older gentleman asking me to read the label of his frozen meat so he could make lunch. After confirming that he grabbed the correct type of meat, we chatted for a little bit about where we are from. He was such a nice guy and I hope he enjoys his lunch!

it’s a great app and i would love to help once i receive a call, however i wonder if there’s a way to prevent people who are able to see from seeking help since i just got trolled by one and i feel like it also prevents people who actually need this support from getting it immediately

It helps a large number of visually impaired people and is a very good public welfare APP! Thanks to the authors and developers, as well as a large number of volunteers! Thank you!

Amazing opportunity to be of service

I’ve been a helping member for “Be My Eyes” since 2019. It has to be one of my most anticipated calls of the year. Absolutely love helping people that just need a little assistance. Wether that may be identifying items at home, the store, crossing the street, picking out a pink shirt etc. it is such a humbling, content feeling.

Helping Is Good

I’ve already helped a couple of people and it was super easy. This is such an awesome use of technology, I’m really happy to be a part of something like this that actually helps people in the moment.

I signed up and got my first call last week! Helped a man get back home and he was so sweet! Best app ever! It’s the little things!

I absolutely love this app and being a light for someone else. I have received a few calls and enjoy every minute of helping the caller on the other end of the line. Can’t wait to help even more!!

Easy to use amazing program.

I just answered my first call and was able to help someone who needed my eyes to see the controls on the laundromat dryer. It took under 2 minutes. He was grateful and I am overwhelmed with what a blessing this app is.

You guys are doing a great job. I love how much more accessible you’re making my life. It reads my mail so nicely. I actually got documents from a court and I read the entire thing to me. I didn’t have to ask anybody to read it to me so I was able to have my own business kept private. Love it keep it going, but it is getting a little hard to get a life person and sometimes you do need a lie person. Please keep them. anyway, love it keep going. Anytime you need a test person. I’ve had the pleasure of answering several calls out through this app, and it always makes me happy to know that I was able to help another person! I was a bit worried at first if there was going to be people taking advantage of the video call feature to show inappropriate imagery, but Be My Eyes does a absolutely phenomenal job in making sure that doesn’t happen. I’ve been using this app to help people for the past two years and it’s been such a great way to help people! I usually just help them indentify objects they have and they’re super quick calls! I’ve always dealt with incredibly kind and considerate people so it really makes me happy I can help out.

I think this app is fantastic. What a gift for people needing a little help.

As a blind person, I always get stuck with problems in my Windows operating system. Before I would have to search all over the Internet and try to figure things out myself. Now that I’ve got me my eyes and the volunteer services, I am able to become more independent and help my family at the same time. Thank you so much for all the hard work!h

It feels great to be able to help others from around the world. I’ve had the app since April and I’ve helped two people. One suggestion I’d make is maybe on the volunteers end, we are able to track the number of people we’ve helped.

Great ap very helpful and kind people

Being able to stop what I am doing and help people who need it is the most fulfilling part of this app. I don’t personally know any visually impaired people, but if I did this would be the first app I recommend to them. This app is incredible! I love getting notifications that someone needs my eyes and I love being able to help!

Be My Eyes is a great way to feel helpful to others. My great aunt was legally blind, and each time I answer a Be My Eyes call and help someone, I feel connected to her.

I’ve helped someone set the right temperature on their oven; determine what color the shirt on the hanger was, and provide movie start times from a video screen that weren’t audible. Quick and easy each time, and if I were sight impaired I could see this being a great help to know there are thousands of US out here willing to “Be My Eyes.” Appropriate technology and use of crowd sourcing if there ever was one.

Great ap very helpful and kind people

I shouldn’t encourage others to join since it might decrease my chances to get a call. However, helping individuals with low vision makes me so happy, I can’t help it. It’s so easy - you get a video call and help someone “see” what they need to see. There’s no pressure if you can’t take a call since one of the millions of other volunteers is eager and ready. I truly appreciate this simple way to help others.
