I started doing BeReal because my kids were doing it. And I kinda stopped a couple months before the year was up. Then they had the year recap & i was hooked! I hope they do it again

It’s pretty chill

Veryyy goood and fun app

This is one of the most fun app ever! You get to take a lot of pictures and you can add as much as friends as you want on Be real. If you take a picture on time, you have five pictures to take. But don’t worry if you get on late to take your pictures, you will only at least have one or two pictures to take. you can also customize your profile name and picture It’s so much fun! If you don’t have this app, you are missing out!!

I love it so much because u guys can like connect with other people and it’s amazing

i love bereal but right now the app will not allow me to take a photo and i really don’t want to lose all my streaks, please help immediately

I have had BeReal as my only source of social media since I was 13. You have the ability to make your profile public or private, both of which you must send a friend request to so you can view the person’s posts. It also has a private chat option, that of which can be deleted, reported, and blocked if needed. You can also choose to input your phone number, so you can add people you know. Overall: Great app for younger teens!

It is amazing but it hasn’t been working it keeps glitching and not letting me open the app I have tried reinstalling the app snd I tried powering off my phone if you have tips please let me know

This app is pretty good, but I wouldn’t let anybody younger than the age of like 14. Use it because I have gotten messages from random people in there are old men on this app.

It is like instagram but a safer version…Totally recommend all my friends and others at my school have it, fun way to see what they are up too.

I feel like it always goes off at the worst times

After some confusion with a new feature Behind The Scenes the app is still great. I initially thought they where referring to a Korean band 😂 so hope they keep up the good work.

I love this app one of my favorite apps that I like to use

I love BeReal to keep in touch with long distance friends and to show people how I live. Some people wonder “why would you want people to know how you live?” Well to be more open in this world helps me find myself and for my friends to react to a picture I take really warms my heart. BeReal is a 10/10 FOR SURE❤️❤️

I was tryn do a 4.5! Because so this is a stor and how be real effected it so if you don’t wanna read you don’t have to!! But so basically these kids that used to be my friend all the sudden wanted to start being rude. They were calling me names and fat shaming me! Witch broke my heart of course. But BeReal allows ss. So I posted a picture and it said “working out because I’m fat ig” and one of the girls fat shaming, took a ss and sent it to the little group of people that did it!

I like it I just got it and there isn’t really anything bad about it

This app is amazing! I found and reconnected with one of my old friends who moved away! It’s also free! And not time consuming! Highly recommended!

4 stars if they do something else cool i’ll make it 5. I like it but feel like it could get old quick if they don’t add more features. Suggestions something using live photos, and something with sound. Not like with tiktok but like if you’re listening to a song when bereal comes up you can share it. Or even just an audio prompt, liek capture the sound around you. Something continuing to show that they are unique and innovative! ⚠️⚠️

It’s your friends and only them (no « following ») It’s only random pictures from real life The feed is short (no endless addictive scrolling through infinite useless content) People can only see content if they send content to you in exchange (no more one way news) It was buggy in the early days but works fine now :-) Please don’t add random new features I like it as it is!

Really helps me reconnect with old friends. It’s very simple, and doesn’t really need much extra to be a great app

This app has fallen off sooooo bad.. I deleted it when they started advertising everything just because that was one of the things they stood for was that this app was designed for community and not for promotions which they’ve let fly out the window.. I redownloaded summer 2025 and just decided to start ignoring the ads. But their most recent update MAKES FRIENDS AND FOLLOWERS PUBLIC ONE OF THE ONLY THINGS THEY STILL HAD FROM THEIR ORIGINAL CORE VALUES THEY HAVE NOW LET GO OF so yeah this isn’t
