Greatness in Music as Near as My Phone

I count myself fortunate to be able to participate electronically in these wonderful concerts at the Philharmonie. From presentations of the newest and most exciting music to concerts such as Saturday’s with David Barenboim and Martha Argerich which spanned seventy years of artistry, these concerts offer musical civilization of unparalleled richness. Although I live in Boston, which has its unique and deep musical life, I relish the chance to be with the Berliner Philharmoniker each Saturday -

The Berliner

Supreme! The world’s greatest orchestra with the world’s greatest conductor!

The Real Deal

Chamber music of the highest quality. A unity of listening to each other so closely that the ensemble has a unique oneness about it.

The best in all categories

There is nothing that compares to the Berliner Philharmoniker app, on my iPhone, my desktop and my Roku streaming device. The brilliance of the orchestra comes through in multiple ways but my favorite is to get in my Subaru and play the BPO concerts with the speakers full blast. I have an exceptional system in the Forester other than my Bose headphones. I feel that I am actually in the orchestra. The technology is amazing.

Fantastic performances

What a treat to have access to current and archival recordings of this orchestra. Top notch music making and excellent camera work.

Absolutely Fantastic App

Longtime subscriber to the Berliner Philharmoniker & this app is the real added value to the service. The ability to download individual performances directly onto your phone in HD places it in the top category. Even streaming over 5G sounds amazing with even modest headphones. The extensive work put into this app clearly demonstrates the commitment the Berliner Philharmoniker has for its subscribers. Highly recommended.

Excellent online classic music performance

Have been a subscriber for more than 4 years and truly love this platform with live classic music concerts on Saturday/Sunday and a huge collection of the previous performances which can be accessed early. This has been a perfect addition to our subscription to Carnegie Hall and NYPhil and other programs in NYC.

Beautiful app for wonderful music by a magnificent orchestra

Hi! This app is a great experience for music lovers like myself. It’s pretty cool to watch the videos on the app anytime you want. I got a small suggestion for the app: can you make an option for us to add our own personal playlists for ourselves. For example to keep a list of our favorite Beethoven symphonies and not have to have it all the favorites lumped in together. Also I haven’t noticed any bugs or issues with the performance of the app, it all seems to run smoothly.

Wow!!

The perfect app I never knew existed! Take my money!!!

Amazing

You are right there. Can’t get any better than that other than being there in person.

Best exclusive content and playing experience

Excellent work!

Absolutely love!

This is a must have subscription for anyone who enjoys classical music. Love that I can watch every current season performance live. They also an exhaustive archive of past performances. I do have one request — please fix ATMOS streaming in Apple TV. It does not work. I only get stereo.

The Greatest Band

There is no greater band than the Berlin Phil. And this is a window into their past, present, and future. If you love classical music, you should have this in your life. If you don’t love classical music, you should work on that and there’s no better tour guide than Digital Concert Hall. Love it!

Wonderful!! Simply wonderful!!

The Berlin Philharmonic on your iPhone!! This is one of the best designed apps I have used. I love the offline feature. I've enjoyed many a drive home from work listening to the app through my car stereo. The Berlin Philharmonic are on another level musically and artistically. The Alexander Scriabin "Poem Of Ecstasy" interpreted by Kirill Petrenko is one of the most extraordinary performances of this piece ever recorded, and it's here in the palm of your hand.
