Highly recommend. Literally registered my battery in 2 clicks! This is how stuff is supposed to work. Buy it!!!

Practically useless for the dashboard options I bought it for, but even better than ISTA+ for diagnostic codes & resetting after clearing codes. Dives deeper than ISTA+ & no laptop needed. BimmerCode is not as useful as ProTools, but definitely recommend BimmerLink. 👍

Please add other devices, I just bought v linker ms and it’s not compatible with ur app, the option is simple allow other devices to be connected instead of specific ones. Once u add other devices I will give u 5 star thanks hope u fix this issue

In reality the app really just has two functions. Everything else can already be done from the car dash. Not worth the price.

Needs to be more user friendly

I’ve had this app for a few years now and every time I have ever had an issue (which is only been twice) has been responded fast, always a solution. I recommend this to anyone with a bmw. Definitely get the CarPlay add on I love seeing all the information I chose in the screen 5 stars

I have a 2022 BMW X5 45e PEHV. It has two 12V batteries in the back. One 90Ah and one 50 Ah. I bought Bimmerlink so I could replace these batteries and register them with the car. You can do this with the larger battery but not the smaller auxiliary battery. Both batteries have Intelligent Battery Sensors but Bimmerlink doesn’t show anything related to the auxiliary battery. BMW mechanic wants over $100 to register this battery. If Bimmerlink can support the larger battery, why not the smaller?

Love this app for what it costs. Has a lot of great features. The carplay feature however should be free. It only shows sensor values. You cannot interact with any of the vehicles settings, which would really what make the 10$ worth it. Please enable exhaust flap control in carplay!!! It would be sick to use the touchscreen to toggle it open and closed. Docking 2 stars for the carplay feature as it too limited for what it costs.

very good apps. Just if you can add a couple of things as 1. dashboard view in carplay 2.transfer case calibration. This app will replace most of other bmw OBD scanner.

Love the app just wish it had a lil bit more options

It is decent app for modern BMW but it does everything it states except EPB service mode. Failure message pops up “The Service Mode can’t be activated” diagnostic mode activated, foot on brake, parking brake disengaged. All conditions have met. There are no manual, instructions and troubleshoot. I emailed support but they gave all informations I already know. I pad almost $43 including tax. I’m not sure if it is worth it. Maybe it is better to invest money on good obd2 scanners.

App itself is great and easy to use. The $10 CarPlay add-on, however, is next to worthless. It will list sensor values on the CarPlay screen, but you can’t view the gauge dashboard until updates are allowed by Apple apparently. I’d assume most people who want CarPlay functionality want the gauges displayed like they are in the app.

I used this to register a new battery in my 2017 Mini Clubman. It worked flawlessly! The dealer wanted around $400 to replace and register the battery. If I bought a battery elsewhere and replaced it myself, they would charge $100 to register it. I bought the battery at Costco for $170 (same specs) and registered it myself. It worked great with a VEEPEAK BLE+ Bluetooth 4.0 OBD II scan tool that I already had.

The ap is great I had android and just got the iPhone so I had to repurchase. Didn’t see an option to transfer liscence or if that’s an option? But overall great and I can scan for my own codes. Very user friendly. I have an f30 “14 and it works great! Thanks team!

I had the dreaded check engine light come on the other day. I had a feeling that it was due to the gas cap not being tighten properly however even after tightening it never went off. Used BimmerLink to read the error code and it was the gas cap issue as I thought. Reset with the app and like magic it’s gone. My battery died on my 2015 535i so I called my “not so local” BMW service department to ask what a new battery cost. $299 plus tax. But oh, if you need us to do it the all in price is $750. Yikes. $450 for labor and a major charge to reprogram the battery. So I hopped on YouTube and searched for DIY replacement. Followed “Fix it with Jake” and purchased the Veepeak tool and Bimmerlink app. Bought the battery and swapped it out myself and saved $370. Registered my battery and back to norm

Using the OBDLink CX and Bimmerlink was pretty straightforward and easy to use. The two east side Cleveland Oh BMW dealerships charge $250-$500 labor to replace battery and register the new battery with my car. The Bluetooth adaptor recommended by BimmerLink cast $39.99 and the app. from Bimmerlink was $29. Been using the app for the last few years on my 535 feet, and have used it for battery registration, oil changes, as well as error code diagnostics and reset. App is straightforward and to the point, not a lot of frills, but you know what to expect. One suggestion: provide potential solutions for the error code.

It’s great for normal maintenance and added data - would give 5 stars if it provided automatic transmission oil temperature information

Everything seems to work perfectly except oil change resets. Wish they had an update for that issue.

App has Glitches when connected you may be disconnected suddenly. great for Battery Registration & Code Diagnostic ability Battery registration is not updated or up to date needs enhanced work to register battery information to car instead it just tell you the miles changed and battery type it needs battery production information updated

Great tool for the price — boost sensor alone worth the $$!

I ran down my battery with the hardtop midway open. I was able to manually open and close, but not with the button. After resetting the CTM codes, the top works great! Money well spent.

Make sure to buy a quality OBD connector. I bought a cheap one and it kept disconnecting. After buying a quality one I have had no issues.

This app along with BimmerCode allow you to have total control of your BMW and personalize it to you!

User friendly, great UI, the support is helpful. I would recommend buying this app for anyone looking for an easy to use diagnostic app for BMW.

I do my own brake pad maintenance on my G82 m4. This app lets me retract the rear parking brakes, and also let me clear a bunch of codes from the brake by wire system detecting hydraulic fluid level changes in the caliper. Amazing!

This app has saved me; time, money, energy, money, time, money, time and a bit more money.

My download certainly does not open with all the info screens shown online / just get a screen with six options (include battery registration)

Really good app for looking at your cars stuff

I was looking for a good data logging and sensor monitoring app. This one hits on all levels. Perfect for what I needed plus a few extras included. Highly recommended. I run the app on iOS with MHD WiFi F series black adapter. No issues so far.

One battery change, and the Bimmerlink app and Veepeak adapter have paid for themselves! Battery registration function to the rescue!

i still had to pay $50 for the bimmercode app. this is for reading the codes and if you don’t have another unit.

07 335i bmw. Will not connect

Most things on this app work but the exhaust flap control gives a message “control of the exhaust flap requires the engine to be running and the vehicle stationary” in my 2026 G82, even when the car is running and stationary (in park). I tried in the app and also paid the extra $10 to be able to try in CarPlay. Neither way works. Dissatisfied!

It read error codes from 2007 X5. Claimed to successfully clear them. It did not. Error codes were never cleared even after multiple clearings. It’s worked for another F30 in the past.
