This is the only Rook app I can find that will let you play Red 1 as trump which is great but would love to enjoy multiplayer with friends and family. The app has an achievement to unlock when you play multiplayer but there is no option to do so.

Game has changed and anytime you lead game it starts over. It used to remember where you were in the game and restart where you stopped. I don’t play nearly as much since it has changed.

I enjoy playing but it’s plain that whoever programmed doesn’t know the games ins and outs

I remember as a kid playing this with my grandparents. My sister, her husband and myself are the only ones that really know how to play this game around us. Being able to play on this app has been a joy. I wish it was live and you were able to play with other players and not just the computer.

Great game. Any plans for a multiplayer version?

…I can’t seem to “Continue” a game anymore. I really love having this app; it’s a game I used to play with my grandma. I just wish I could continue my games again! 🙏🏽

What happened to multiplayer? Are you going to bring it back?

I love the customization behind this app and you can play so many different Rook variations. My favorites are 1-High Partnership and The Red 1.

I’m learning to play and want to get better fast and this helps a lot. The people I play with have house rules I wish I could have control over in the settings to make it better practice for me. 1. Person left of dealer begins bidding 2. One card of widow is shown to all players before bidding begins 3. Nine card widow, rather than five 4. Aggressive/Brave bidding (no bids under 130 in my group) 5. Whoever takes the bid/widow leads first trick

There needs to be an online option.

I love rook and Blackbird is most like the original I just wish there was a multiplayer option. I have distant family and with multiplayer option we could play together and have family tournaments and such.

All time favorite. I like this cause is so like Rook. It’s my dad favorite game and he taught me.

In playing this it has helped with my memory problem with early Dementia. Thank you it has given m a lot of tricks for Rook & I have enjoyed playing this game.

Love this game and thanks to the developer who brings this to the App Store but I do wish they would make it possible to play and connect with your friends instead of the computer all the time. It would be worth paying a little to be able to do that!

The game is great and the options allow you to play rook with the red one, which is about the only variation we play in the south. Love the game. The screen is different than most card apps and it can be frustrating. I would rate it 5 stars and pay double just to have the option of rotating the screen and not seeing opponent cards upside down.

We always drop points when our partner has a chance to catch trick. Why hold them?

Fairly fun to play with a few exceptions. There is a component missing for partner to throw points on a lead that will be won by defending partner. Also, the opposing team seems to get most of the cards for winning the bid! Should be more evenly distributed!

It allows you adjust the rules so you are playing advanced Rook rather than the basic version.

Just wish it had the multiplayer option again.

This game is rigged for the computer to win by rarely dealing fairly the cards randomly… just my opinion. Been playing this game for years .

This is a 5 star game. I just wish they would give us multiplayer. Especially since a challenge for a medal is to play multiplayer games.

It was the teammate and it is now “Useless Moron.” Never throws points when they should, more apt to use those points against you than for you. Bid *your* hand. Don’t think of it as 2 on 2, think of it as 3 vs 1 and you should be okay.
