Is there a way to change the colors for each course tab?? because I had green, yellow, and orange on the blackboard app.

I wish all my professors used blackboard because only some use it if they want to. And some of them use it incorrectly. There should be a course on how to use it effectively for the students and professors upon every update. Also, I wished there was native biometric passcodes instead of secondary. Every time I log into my blackboard app, the app brings me to the Cuny first to log in and then after that I could access my classes.

The app is great when it actually works but during the 2022 spring semester the app went down for months at a time and I wasn’t able to use it at all and the same could be said for almost my whole campus. The same thing has happend this fall semester starting in early to mid November and I cannot acsess my grades from my phone. I can no longer log into the app from my phone but the website still functions just fine. Disappointing that the app crashes so often and for such long periods of time

Easy to access and check for updates of assignments

I think it is a good app overall but no matter what internet I use, it takes forever to open messages or even courses. Sometimes it won’t open at all any section. When I use Blackboard on my computer and I receive a message or a calification, I open mu app just to verify and it won’t receive anything at the moment. It takes 20 or 30 minutes later to reflect the new info.

It’s pretty organized and all but the search button is almost useless. I can only search what’s in the opened folder, which is a bit frustrating when I want to search something because I don’t know which folders they’re in!

The updated app looks better but students can no longer see their grades in one convenient area. With the update, you now have to into each individual course to see your grade. With the previous version, you were able to see your overall grade for each current course on a single page. If you wanted to see specific course grades (e.g., what you made on a test, etc.) you had the option to go in and see that information by clicking on a specific course. Please bring back the grade quick views.

Is there a way to be able to download material again? because with the old version it would let me export things into my iPad easily and now it doesn’t have that option when I click on a the download button on the document.

No longer lets me login.

I love this app, but it’s frustrating at times. Every time I view a pdf or anything attached, I have to exit out and log right back in. I wish we could stay logged in for longer periods of time. It’s frustrating putting a long student email in and long password

i think there needs to be an update because it keeps giving me an error message saying “there might be an issue on [their] end”. otherwise the app is really helpful!

On my iPhone and iPad it won’t let me see the discussion when I click discussion or when it it pop up in my notifications.

I get my notifications about 2 days after their actual day

I get logged out every time I close the lab.

Really efficient app! My only issue: since an update a few months ago, I’ve been unable to see the content of most discussion posts, or the number of views. Hoping a new update fixes this!

Why can’t I take test using my phone

This app used to send me notifications of assignments ahead of time, but now sometimes it doesn’t even remind me that an assignment has been posted until after the due date has passed.

All my due dates keep briefly appearing before changing to a different screen saying I have nothing due. Please fix this

I’ve been using this app for a while now, but I’ve been noticing it’s been glitching. Now I can’t even log in and it doesn’t work. It needs major bug fixes and improvements please update! Thank you!

This app saved me lots of times when I don’t have my work laptop and have USW assignments or to check something

Always crashing it’s good but not 4.5 stars I’m convinced the 4 star and above reviews are artificial because that is not the case

Connect phone or Google calendar so that user can sync course “due dates” to their personal calendars.

I used to like the app , now with the update you don’t see where the teacher is pointing during class and that takes away a huge advantage , also the inability to download the slides through blackboard is very unhelpful .

It doesn’t show comments the professor makes on assignments. I have to log onto a desktop to see them.

The app crashes very frequently and doesn’t always refresh with the most recent information. It’s actually very user-friendly and it would be really helpful if not for the frustration of crashing all the time.

The app is unflippable. You can’t view the documents in full. You have to continuously slide it over to see the full text.

I should have to log in every time I open the app.

Now that I got it to connect, I remain pleased. Crucial for getting notifications regarding my MBA class.

The due dates aren’t always correct, and the grades are not correct, it’s like days off sometimes, but for some small uses helpful, I use on iPad and phone, I like to download class materials on my iPad.

Everytime I log in I have to put my password. This apps needs to be fixed that is Icloud friendly and the password could be put from the Icloud saved password or the best way to make it easier is to fix it that we could log in with face id. Thanks

Blackboard has so many wonderful features. I love blackboard collaborate because it is built within side of black board.

Some of the content on the app differs from what is on the actual website so there may be missing links when using the app

It’s a good app but it seems there are bugs. When I click on the discussion boards, it shows that it’s loading but never opens. Please, fix this issue.

I like the app. I receive notifications and it is easy to navigate.

Little slow and glitchy sometimes but the app works well. Very user friendly actually.

the app seems more user friendly now besides one particular thing , under the activity stream my homework and everything is out of order with due dates and that is driving me nuts. I hope that is fixed in the future.

Excellent App…helps me tremendously, organizing and keeping up with my assignments. I can just go down the row and see what is due.

Great App. But I am unable to log into my blackboard. App needs update

Not all basic features are available/work on attachments uploaded by instructors. When looking at many attachments on a phone the text is too small to read. Blackboard does not allow me to zoom or to rotate the phone 90% to see more text.
