It’s a good app but for a paid app I would say it is definitely not worth it, at least for the basic strategy. The features it offers I can receive at almost any other website for free. Some features I would like to see that would set it apart from all other trainers is more customization. For example a harder spitting mode that removes 5s, 8s, and 10s because they can be very competitive and hinder learning. I printed the charts and committed to memorizing them. I’ve been practicing by looking and just by the flow of the sim, I’ve grasped how fast it can be and how even basic strategy can get you by with correct leverage. The gestures get you used to what it will be like at a live table. Will be hitting the tables soon with knowledge!

I really love blackjack but want to flip the edge however I just get bored before I can even count for most of a shoe. On top of that you need an insane bankroll and still risk being a losing player and or getting banned from all local casinos long term. I have no problem folding all night in poker and waiting for my spots but something about blackjacks nature just makes me want to play like a monkey lol. My only complaint is that the app doesn’t let you choose what actions you want to practice. They should add an option that allows you to do only splits or for certain dealer up cards.

Not realistic- No surrender on most Vegas games. Other than that it’s enjoyable and I’m learning. **Got a response from the developer. Operator error. Surrender can be turned off in settings. My bad, sorry. Loving the game again.

Love the app and been using for a year now. Definitely improved my black jack game strategy. Although I had a question, how many decks are we playing with in the game? I couldn’t find that info anywhere ?

iPad version throws occasional technical errors but restarting seems to solve it. iPhone version works as expected.

Really can’t say enough about the app for any card counter. Colin and his team deliver the best as always. My only wish is that you could enter a betspread and have the software correct you on betting mistakes.

When selected that dealer stands on soft 17, there are 3 hands that will differ when playing basic strategy . Although the app will continue to correct me as if the table rules were dealer hits on soft 17. Perfect app regardless .

I hope they added a functionality that you can set your betting spread and your betting unit before the drill and the app can tell you when you are betting the wrong spread.

This is great! It has everything you need to know to get started in black Jack. From learning how to play basic strategy and to learning how to count. Definitely recommend to new beginners and even to players to keep there mind sharp for good practice!

There is a bug where the app always stands when splitting aces.

Not exactly a review, just bringing up the issue that once you split aces the app deals a card each and moves on, not allowing you to actually play the hand. Sure would like a fix on that

I don’t like how you can’t see the decks remaining. Makes it a little harder finding the true count. Kinda have to guess based on how many hands you’ve played

Haven’t made any real money yet but dang this is fun as heck!

While doing the drill, does it notify you when you made an error on a hand? I got to the end of the shoe with no notification on making a wrong decision. I did not score a perfect shoe, so I know I must’ve made an error.

Had this app for some time now and I have learned to be a confident player.

Every once in awhile, the count will reset without any indication that it’s about to. Please fix.

Really not worth 1.99. They get you to subscribe then want to charge you more for counting tool. I’m sure there are free apps that offer the same and more. Don’t waste your money like I did.

Editing my original review. You can learn how to count but the decks aren’t correct. For example I’ve practiced double deck with over 12 2’s in the deck. Had a true count of 10 and increased my bet only to get more 2’s than there are in double deck. Really frustrating and makes me not want to use the app to play correctly. If developers can fix this bug it would be a 5 star app easy.
