BlockYT for Safari App Reviews

Thank you, this is exactly what I needed and I’m looking forward to gaining back the time I’ve been wasting on shorts

This app succeeded in blocking out the YT shorts for me however, there was also an option in the app that would block out the comments sections of videos for me and that’s where the problem is. Comment sections are as equal of a problem as shorts are. The app is unable to block the comment sections out despite checking if everything is in place and refreshing the pages over and over again. Please fix the comment section problem for me.

Developer wrote me to explain this is to block unwanted suggestions so I’m going to try to use it in addition to “sunscreen app” which allows me to have to password entry each video request from the kids.

Enabled it on my iPad in Settings-Apps-Safari-Extensions and it works perfectly! Thank you so much for making this!

I was having issues but after contacting the developer either he fixed it or it resolved itself with a little time 😁👍

Works well, only what I want to see to somehow replace this empty state by some funny text, icon or image.

I was looking for a way to disable shorts on YouTube in safari and this does it perfectly- absolutely worth the price.

I love this app and want to use the new Shorts Blocking feature, but it seems to have issues on iOS, notably when trying to search for videos or navigate to a channel. This only happens when Shorts Blocking is enabled.

Shorts drain my life energy, but I do need the main youtube. This app does a great job blocking them since macos default blocker can't

I have terrible addiction to those YouTube short scrolling videos. It doesn’t block those out just the home page but not the short videos on the home page. You can still see the comments on shorts and continue scrolling. You can also see recommendations when searching for videos! I hope they fix that.
