Sometimes will crash when doing early checkin the morning of donation. Then, you need to restart questionnaire. Otherwise, great app.
My recent donation appointment was done by an excellent healthcare team. They were professional, kind, efficient, skilled and knowledgeable. Great job !!
I recently put the head on my 15th gallon. I thought ARC would show a badge reflecting my 15th gallon. No such badge ever showed up. During my donation I had the tech help me shoot a selfie. I thought I would be able to post the selfie somewhere, but once again nope. They want you to shoot a selfie at least you should be able to post it on your record. If the ARC wants frequent flyers to keep donating they should post all badges like my 15 gallon badge
Blood donation is safe, simple, and a tremendous support to so many in need. Babies, toddlers, high schoolers like those you live with or know in your neighborhood. Also senior family members, like my sister, that can put a good cap on a bad day with the help of some stranger donating blood. It’s easy and takes little time. The blood donation professionals are gentle and kind and you’ll feel like a million by helping those in need. Yes, there is a tremendous need and every one of us (mostly) a
Easy to use, but if they say you have a reservation on-line, doesn’t mean anything - can be waiting 45-60 minutes to get initial interview. Location will tell you the app is not efficient or good
As a donor I appreciate the Red Cross donation app showing the path of our donation all the way to the end user(s). Great way to encourage future donations.
App is easy to use-has a lot of helpful information and is great for keeping your records.
Very friendly and polite.
This app is very user friendly and I love all the additional features it has. Not only can I schedule an appt and complete my RapidPass/access my donor card easily, but I can see the journey of my donation from the day I donate to when it’s used!
Great application for a great act. If you’re able to donate regularly this application is super helpful.
Every couple of times when it comes to doing my rapid pass, the app becomes wonky and won’t let me. It either just won’t pull up or won’t let me continue after the first few screens. Today the app itself won’t even load at all. It is due for an update or two to get these bugs out. You’d think with a blood shortage, they’d want a tool that schedules donations to work.
This app makes donating so easy! Finding, scheduling, receiving reminders, and managing donation appointments are so simple with the app. It’s seamless!
This app works very well the interface is exceptionally easy and straightforward
I really like all the features of the blood donor app, especially scheduling, blood journey, and health charts. However, there is a bug in the Rapid Pass feature, which causes it to freeze up mid-way through the questionnaire. This happens each time I attempt to use it. I’m a frequent platelets donor (18 + donations/year), so it’s not an occasional occurrence.
Right now there is no way to add a photo for the blood donor teams. Teams that registered early on have nice logos uploaded, but my team, Sheep Dog Impact Assistance, has a generic stock image as its photo and I can’t change it. Red Cross customer service also can’t do anything about it. Please make it possible to refine our team image as we are now in the top 100 teams! Thanks.
The ‘Impact’ tab with the team info feels a little limited. I set our company team up but am unable to do any sort of editing to the name or even being able to add a logo or icon. Also, not sure why, but we can only see the faces of 4 team members and then “+3 Others”. Why are we not able to click into the team to see the others at our company? Perhaps it’s a limitation for teams that are thousands of members… I’m not sure.
I have been trying to reset my password for 5 weeks but it keeps saying that there is no account with this email and yes there is an account with the email
I like the app. I like seeing where my donation went. But I cannot find the rapid pass feature. That’s my number one goal in using the app. Where is it?
After the last donation the app showed that there are -2 days to my upcoming donation. Then, a smart scheduling suggested that I make an appointment in two days after the prior donation. I couldn’t setup the next appointment for the first time for two years. I will wait for a while if the application will be fixed otherwise will have to find other organizations.
Overall app is great. One suggestion I have is to somehow integrate to “Donor Card” access to the upper part of the Home Screen. I am a volunteer for the Red Cross and use the digital “Donor Card” to check people in for their donation appointment. It is amazing how many people have trouble locating their donor card on the App. At least half the time I have to show them how to navigate to the Donor Card. If it was on the initial screen when they open the App, that would be very helpful.
Please fix your app I keep getting emails with gift cards for appointments I never had. I can’t donate for another week due to an infection. I don’t want rewards for something I didn’t do. I hope you see this
I like that I can get my rapid pass, see results and my history. It been easy to use to book/cancel appointments.
The app has improved overtime but it’s still lacking a very important piece of functionality that is to connect with Apple Health. Many diagnostics labs offer connectivity with Apple health. Making Red Cross screening and blood analysis results available in AppleHealth seems an obvious omission and would be greatly appreciated.
The Red Cross Blood 🩸 Donation App is a great resource and awesome piece of gear! It helps so much with easy use and a collection point for all information concerning yourself and everything about donating blood 🩸! Love it! THANKS
Rapid pass is cool, but the app does not ask you if you want to donate plasma with your platelets which is kind of weird and also something I did not know (until I went to donate) was even a thing. Other people have valid complaints but I don’t mind really. I guess I should mention that the app has worked fine for me, no crashes or bugs and seems the same for other people since I haven’t seen any complaints about that.
Red cross kept cancelling our appointments with no explanation. The cancellations are on the day and a few hours before the appointments. It caused inconveniences as we scheduled our work around the appointments.
The app says 56 days between donations of whole blood. Same as it’s been for years or decades. I last donated March 14 and drove about 100 miles for that knowing the local blood drive was returning May 15. 56 days has me eligible on May 9. The app says I am not eligible until May 18 which is 65 days after my last donation. I have sent four or more messages pointing this out with no reply to the last three. The first reply just said I was not eligible until May 18. Is there no one capable of cou
Red Cross, you need to fix how insanely horrible your app is for scheduling. Several times I’ve decided to donate blood and go to the app to schedule, only to quit in frustration because your scheduling app is a joke. I am considering taking my donations to ARUP because I am so fed up with how hard it is to schedule.
