This is one of those, "OK, just one more try" kind of games. It's all about fine steering control and timing the activation of the different vehicle systems. Follow the blue line. Activate the systems (jet, afterburner, rocket-1, rocket-2) at the proper times or speeds. The external views are almost superfluous: if you have time for sightseeing you're not going fast enough. This game is really fun. The game needs updates such as thrust effects and you should be able to control from any angle and please add 3rd person view. I would give this game 5 stars if it had these changes.

This game is a blast except the forward view glitches for no reason and only shows the sky so you can’t see the blue line you are to follow. Shutting the game down does not reset the issue. Also, when it does work right and you make it through the gates at over 1000mph, you see the record is over 24 million mph. This game could be great fun if the developers cared a little bit. I would like my .99 cents back.
