Blossom - Plant Care Guide App Reviews

I remember when this app had a human review plant questions, and issues when submitted. Now it’s AI only. Even when you submit something using the plant health feature it’s strangely tells you it’s reviewed by “Kate.” I’m guessing Kate is AI generated? A bit confusing to mislead people that a human reviewed it, when that isn’t the case.

After using this app for several years, my watering schedule is changing in ways that do not make sense. Example: two plants are both set to be watered every 7 days, and suddenly one plant is missing from the To Do list, and i find it list 3 days out on the future task list even though the plant is still set for 7 days. I go ahead and water per the schedule I set, and the next week Blossom will again push the date 10 days out. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I love this app, all except one major gap. I live in Arizona and the temperatures during much of the year are much higher than the top range in the app. Therefore the schedule for watering isn’t accurate as calculated by the app. Everything has to be manually adjusted.

Love everything except how it doesn’t recalculate watering schedule when you change to planted outdoor change pot size.

So I have 3 plants in my room, it was going great until u had to pay for storage to put more plants.😕 also they said one of my plants was a peace lily??? clearly it doesn’t show any white. please and I MEAN PLEASE make it not so pricy for stuff as they are people who try to keep it cheap.

How can I use the app to track my plants that aren't in soil?

First time user but liking it!

I downloaded this app and it is great for identifying, however I took a picture of my plant which isn’t doing so well, and the app did not provide care tips to help my plant. Also it’s annoying how the app will only let you set 2 reminders for your plant before it charges you.

It’s cool. Just needed referral points for another site

My wife called me out the other day, saying, “I’ve seen green algae work harder than you.” Then, I had this thought that went,”your more damp then what moss prefers and worse than those dandelions!” She downloaded this Blossom and we found out we are both dumb. Saved our marriage🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♂️.

I just downloaded this app and I’m loving it. I’m new to plants. I love that it keeps track of each of my plants and reminds to what they need, when they need it.

A fantastic app, opening it puts a smile on my face every day. My only rec to the developer would be to include an option to switch to the metric system (please!!).

I’ve never left a review of an app before but I am thoroughly impressed. Blossom is intuitive and designed in such a clear, concise manner. I have become a plant whiz practically overnight. I’m loving the watering schedule and all the reminders keep me right on track. And I’ve learned so much about my plants. Well done!

I’m a beginner gardener and this app has helped me determine what are weeds and how to take care of my plants!

I wish they are more accurate and has more varieties of plants from all over to differentiate them all…

The app is really great and helpful. The only downside I see is the lack of responses I had with the “Ask Botanist” I’ve had two issues with my plants that I asked a question about and I haven’t had a response from either of them and I just asked one today which wouldn’t even let me ask as it said my email address wasn’t a valid one.

Same thing happened to me as annonomys. I paid for the app and shortly after I tried to log in and it made me sign back up when I got in all my plants weren’t there. So I paid for a year and got nothing essentially.

A couple of problems, if a plant isn't in the library, we should be able to add it, especially if we bought it and have all the specs, I.e. Grecian Rose. Also, I don't have indoor plants, there all outdoor, we need choices such as perennial, annual, etc

I watched a video and I read the comments/suggestions from you. But what do I do with their belief that he’s sick do it ICut it from the bottom or chest area that is sick?

The app works ok, and the info they have is helpful. However, almost half the plants I have aren’t in the database. Even if I search them by name, and not by the photo alone. These are normal plants purchased at Home Depot or Walmart so it seems odd that they aren’t included. Disappointed.

Syncing across devices (iOS) is still broken. The AI is still not that good at recognizing plants from photos taken. Not very confident in the future of this app.

This app shows me everything I need to know about my plants. It literally turns a thumb into a green thumb. Thank you so much for all this app does. Are used to hate my plants, but now I love them. They are truly thriving.

I’m a new plant mom and I absolutely love them. My mom always had a green thumb and I could never figure it out until I got this app. Helpful and knowledgeable!

Just not sure how to use the app.

Because you offer a free trial I’m not able to send the app as a gift to my daughter. This is probably an Apple issue as opposed to a developer issue but I’m wondering if you’ve found a way around this problem?

I’ve been using this app for a while but lately it freezes and shuts down. I’ve updated the app, my phone, everything but every time I go to open it, it just closes.

At first glance, I thought I made a mistake buying this app. But once I went deeper into it, it is excellent. It has all kinds of pictures and discriptions of plants and problems etc.. you can search by plant or disease issues etc.. good job!

It automatically exit itself after I updated it yesterday. Can’t check which plant I need to water. Please help! Hurry!

I used it for plant heath once and i have to pay to do it again same for identifying please fix it

It doesn’t know a lot of plants and you have to pay more to get to actually use the app

My palm obviously isn’t doing well and this app couldn’t diagnose the problem.
