I love Bluesky but hate that I have had to delete and reload multiple times because of the screen freezing, for example when trying to upload a link or when expanding a video. Please fix!

Through and through, this is a Twitter clone in feel, UI, abilities, etc. Except its infinitely better because it’s not owned by a white supremacist

This app would be perfect if it wasn’t missing the ability to post a video or gif. I would love if they would add this feature already so I don’t have to get back on the hellsite that is Twitter (basically 4Chan now). Please please please add a video feature, I don’t imagine it would be that difficult and it would bring lots of people to the platform.

Would be the first of its kind on the market and could increase usage significantly.

Still no iPad app. Please, please, please change this. Also, it is nearly impossible to see the back arrow to move from another person's timeline back to the main one I have selected.

Great app but it needs iPad support!

PROS: No algorithm promoting hate speech and misinformation. CONS: App riddled with bugs, lack basic features, no iPad support.

Great service, mediocre app. It does seem to be trending better, so I do have high hopes.

I.e, one that makes use of the full iPad screen resolution of iPadOS.

i just joined today and i’m so happy to have an alternative to the app-that-shall-not-be-named. Everything on here feels happier and more similar to how twitter felt pre-2020. authentic, happy, small accounts. but i wanted to post a cute video of my pet rabbit and i found out i couldn’t :( i think it would be cool to allow short video clips to share videos of pets, nature, animations, and video edits other pros: more control over feed/content other cons: no DMing, no bookmark/save feature, no

This is my take as an artist using the platform: Pros: - No AI trying to steal artwork or spam bots - No random/irrelevant posts in my feed - No ads (fingers crossed it stays that way!) - It doesn’t feel so crowded and overwhelming Cons: - There isn’t a post scheduling feature - It is more difficult to get any engagement on my posts despite using hashtags - No DM feature - No way to block someone? At least I haven’t come across it yet.

The add a content warning option for pictures doesn’t seem to be working. I select it when appropriate, but it doesn’t show up and then BlueSky ends up doing it.

There is no possibility to bookmark any post. Don’t know how they released the software in the first place without this feature, let alone the subsequent updates.

Bluesky has been a tremendously refreshing and almost completely nontoxic social media experience. I can't recommend it strongly enough. Most of the 1-star reviews are from older versions of the app. Don't let them dissuade you from trying it out! New features (and many expected features) are constantly being added as everything on the platform starts to take shape. If you're a former user, consider giving it another chance.

Twitter is so bad after Elon took over and made everything pay2win. Glad that there is now Twitter competition growing.

the app is progressing

Why is an iPad App so hard? It’s annoying. Just got my invite code….Grateful for that, but so disappointed bluesky just slapped the iPhone app on the iPad. I use my iPad much more because I like a bigger screen, not because I want to view my phone on my iPad. Sigh.

Pretty much like old twitter. My only complaint is that I wish there was a photo album i could long term post photos in. Its one of the few things i felt twitter was missing in its glory days. I even so, its fluid and im having no problems with it. The user face is quite simple. Will still give it 5 stars

Guys, seriously. How long is it going to take to fix these issues? I want to use this site as my go-to, but I’m increasingly frustrated at the video playback problem (which actually seems to be getting worse) and the full screen video/image problem. This app is 4/5 without these issues.
