While this is a great app to scan your books, I just wish you could batch assign a physical location. Otherwise happy.

Been using for several years now, excellent scope and flexibility. Especially enjoy ability to add own review so that I can share with others my perspectives.

This app is the best I've found for cataloging books. Scanning bar codes is fast and accurate, and you can set your own defaults to speed up the process. If the bar code isn't readable or doesn't exist, entering the ISBN takes only a few seconds. And synchronizing between devices is easy to set up and can use iCloud or Dropbox.

Love that I can add every edition of the book I own from special/limited/standard. The best book collection tracker I have found.

I have never written an app review and may never do so again. If you’re an iOS user who loves to read books, own books, and catalogue them please buy this app. There’s also a smaller free version (up to 50 books I believe); I recommend you download that one, look around, and see for yourself. There’s so much to customize and change. This doesn’t have much of a “social” aspect; I tried the trial to let you share/see others’ libraries online, but it was too clunky. If social media isn’t a priority

I have been using this app for five years to record my personal library and have currently entered over 9,600 books. It has been very adequate to record the information I want on each item. The app has continued to make improvements through the years. The ability to loan out books is a great feature. I’m glad to recommend it to my friends.

I love this app. It has so many great features for tracking and cataloging books. However, I noticed recently that in the reading stats page, it double counted a few of my books that I finished. It mainly did that on a small handful of rereads.

I really like the app and it would have been my first choice for my library, but it doesn’t have a desktop option. I have a pretty extensive library and really want to be able to use all the features on my laptop as well. The online sharing option is fine for sharing with friends but doesn’t provide any app features so I can’t use it to manage my library. Disappointing because I do really like the app’s overall features. I’m going with Libib instead.

I recently bought this app as I wanted to keep better track of the books I bought for myself, my children, and my nieces and nephews. It took a little while to figure out how I wanted to organize everything, but now I have it down and it is AMAZING. I don’t think I’ll ever stop using this app.

This is a great app. We have book giveaways and need to keep track of books taken by students. Two suggestions: allow for scanning of duplicate books. Whenever students take the same book I have to save the current scanning session and start a new one in order to scan a duplicate. And second, after a few books have been scanned it just stops accepting new scans, so I have to start a new session. Been using the paid version for several years and so appreciate it. I keep a wish list and log the titles I’ve read with a date read and a rating: for those tasks it’s perfect.

The PERFECT app to corral all of your reading and listening. Continually being updated but remains both simple and full of features you’ll use. You’ll easily save ten times the price of the Pro version by not buying a duplicate. Search is extraordinary and automatically does whatever word you want (like author’s middle name if it was input) without the need to specify ‘field’. I'm a retired English teacher and novice author, so I read and analyze a variety of genres to improve my craft. Book Buddy is affordable and user friendly. Book ISBN codes can be scanned or entered manually, then Book Buddy does the rest! I can add categories such as "Library Loan" or "Cozy" to further organize my personal library. No more carrying lists for long book series as I search for the ones I haven't yet read. This app is a game changer.

This app allows you to scan barcodes and isbn numbers. You can tract what you’ve read and what’s being borrowed. This is hands down the best book app I’ve used. I’ve experimented with five others. I have a library of over 1000 volumes of rare books that aren’t easily found or cataloged. This is by far the best.

We loaded our titles onto the app a couple years ago and it had made it so much easier to keep track of everything. We discovered that we had many multiples (sometime three copies!) sitting in various bookcases. I load every new book that comes into the house as well as often check titles while indulging in wandering through book stores. No more multiple copies. I love this app. If only it could help organize the shelves!

I love this app mostly, but I hate that it is so difficult to back up my library and reload it onto new phones. Having to pay for the app and pay for a cloud service defeats the purpose of buying the app.

This app is an easy to use very powerful and unbelievably useful app for keeping track of books. It’s not expensive it is unbelievably useful for the price just use it and if you don’t like it you can eliminate it and you won’t be out very much money but if you use this program and you are interested in keeping track of books you will love it.

It would be great if the only online source wasn’t Google Books.

It’s great to have a place where all my books are listed and in order.

I love how quickly you can add books by scanning the bar codes. It’s easy to add and edit books manually. Highly recommend!

This is the best app on the planet if you are a book lover and can’t remember all that you’ve read. I love and use it everyday.

Please add the capability to sort by LCC or Dewey asap!

I am finding it difficult to add all of my books that I own. The app is not recognizing some Kindle books even when I search online. I have tried using the isbn number for these books and it tells me that they are not found. I spent the $10 for these books pro hoping for a better app, but not sure if it is worth it. Maybe I will just go back to Goodreads and be done…wish I could get a refund!
