I’ve been really impressed with the Booklover app. It’s simple to use and helps me keep track of all my books effortlessly. One thing I’d love to see added is a page flip animation—it would make browsing through my collection feel even more like reading a real book!

I’m using this app to read comic books but every time I turn to next page, previous page flashes and then the next page shows up. It’s noticeable mostly in ‘instant’ and ‘crossfade’ transition style. I like this app but the transition glitch bothers me so much. I hope it’s fixed as soon as possible.

Booklover is a perfect little app that does exactly what it says it does, nothing more nothing less. I really appreciate the metadata organizer, and this is now my go-to option for any kind of graphic novel!

Is there a limit on the amount of books that you can add? I had about 300 books in the system crashed. I still will give you 5 stars. This application is so complete. Amazing job👍🏻👍🏻I’m going to try again to reset and install it. Thank you. It will be nice to create a filter for genres and tags

Best app for a big libraries but small physical storage space—allows one to download the particular books one wants while keeping others in the cloud. I wish there was a dark mode, and I wish that custom metadata synced between devices. I also wish you could nest tags. But otherwise this app is great, and perfect for me.

Unfortunately, iOS native Dropbox downloads appear to be broken across a lot of apps, including this one and many others. As a workaround, launch the Dropbox app and export with the iOS share menu. Overall, very customizable and user friendly app!

Folders are needed for large comic collections to avoid overwhelming the library, the comics are already organized and selecting all and tagging is extra unnecessary work. Syncing with your iCloud folder is great though!

After searching far and wide for an iPad comic viewer that supports JPEG-XL (an extremely useful format for comics/manga since it can losslessly shrink existing JPEGs by 20%), I’ve finally found it. It seems like a fairly polished reader too… definitely worth its reasonable price tag.

Really wish this app allowed for at least some rudimentary markup tools like highlighting and underlining. other than that it is a perfect upgrade from the stock ibooks app. but for the time being i still use both, hope this is a feature that can be added
