I make my living as a carpenter and use this app all the time. It offers truly useful features that take it way beyond your typical Construction Master. Irregular hip and valley rafter layout is made simple, and the ability to print stair sections from frame to finish (with all relevant values attached) is incredible. And the developers keep making it better with truly useful improvements. Don’t let the price put you off—it’s well worth it. Love love love this app!

I build multimillion dollar homes in the Tahoe Area. When it comes to calculators Buildcalc is all you need. My guys use this because it saves time and that saves me money. This is one app I will buy for them use.

I’ve used this app almost every working day for close to 10 years now (maybe more?) and its never let me down.

Asked for a short cut, that that those expensive lumber yard calcs have and got it. It took a minute or two, but happy he did it. Good job.

I am a Design/Build remodeler and have had this app since it first came out. If you work in the building trades this is a must have app. The others are just playing catch-up. The stair layout function alone is worth more than the price of admission. Get it, you will NOT be sorry. Tech support is prompt and superb.

Switched to iOS and can no longer use the other companies calculator without paying a subscription. I will not pay for greed, however I will pay for a great product. And this blows the other company out of the water. They kept the same great layout but added the most tasteful features. My favorite is long press for info on that function. Great! No more going through the menu to figure out how to do an irregular calculation! Buy it now! You won’t regret it. Developer, thank you.

Great app for figuring stair stringers App saves my pre-cut set dimensions like 11 ¼ treads, preferred risers height, tread and riser thickness etc which saves a lot of time. One thing to be careful about is the app doesn’t have a refresh button. So if a change my rise I need to set run to 0 to refresh

The other construction calc company got greedy and now requires an annual subscription so I switched. This app blows the other construction calc. out of the water. This prints stair cut angles in ready to build blueprint format, Amazing!

I have had this app on every device. From android to Apple. Across many devices. Worth the money if your in the building trade. Easy to use and exact numbers.

I’ve been using this app for years. Love and was so grateful to not carry another calculator in my pouch. I use this more than any other calculator app. After reading reviews it seems like it’s one dude running the show. Even more impressive. Good job bro. Thank you for making my life easier.
