I have been using this app for years, probably 1–5 times per month, and it’s super useful when I need it. However, the app broke when I updated to IOS 17: everything still works, but at the last step (exporting the GIF/movie) is impossible because the buttons are hidden beyond the bottom edge of the screen. I hope the developer will update the app! I would be a shame not to since everything else (besides the final export) is working fine. It’s a great app!
App was great, but no longer works in iOS 14 — due to the changes that Apple made related to photos permissions. Now, when you select one of your photo bursts, it will instead only import a single one of those photos, so you end up with a single-frame GIF. 🤷🏻♂️ App needs to be updated.
I've been using this since it launched. It works GREAT. I always end up using it a few times a day. Size of the gif is no problem here. Having the option to add text would be cool.
Absolutely love this app. Easily combines burst shots into hi-res video or animated GIF. Thanks devs!
(Current version has a crash when exporting a gif) but the app is basically the best at gifs. And I've tried them all. Plz fix bug :)
I think this app does what it's supposed to do. However, there are things that can be added in updates that would really make the app better, such as the ability to put multiple bursts together.
Gifs look bad and videos are too short even if you loop them. It's a great idea it's a bummer it doesn't work too well.
Simple, does what it says and gives lots of great options!
While this might be something Apple should include in their OS, 99 cents is money well spent to turn my bursts into gifs.
Super easy to use. I created a gif of a burst photo I took in about 15 seconds. I wish there was a way we could download them to our phones though so we can rewatch them over and over again.
I just tried it the first time, and got a great video with almost no tapping. It was put in my photos library, where I can easily keep it, or transfer or copy it to my computer.
Great underrated app! It's brought life to a ton of memories I expected just to be still images. Easy to use. Great idea and great execution. Easy 5 stars.
The app works perfectly. You can save as Gifs or videos.
Super easy to use, can do yoyo mode or reverse. Basic works fast works great :-)
How does Apple not have the ability to do this baked in to the iPhone? Burstio does well what Apple lacks. This is a great app.
Easy to use. Does exactly what it advertises without getting in the way. Provides useful outputs. You and your friends (if you have any) are gonna love your gifs.
If you're going to post these to Facebook you need to export as video. Facebook does not allow/support animated GIF playback, UNLESS you post the GIF to a 3rd party site like imgur or tumblr, then link to the animated GIF from the Facebook post.
This was exactly what I was looking for. I didn't even bother with the other burst/gif apps. Works great with taking candid burst photos with apple iwatch.
It's simple straight to the point for knuckle heads like myself. It's the photo bursts missing link... now if you could edit with it and make mini movies synced to music that would be nice. Only keep it straight forward like the one now.
It's reeally simple but it's easy to understand and for only 99. I wish it could have an option for at least to crop and to choose which pictures will be on the gif, but the app it's ok for what I need it.
Zero complaints. It's not complex, just easy to use and fun to watch!
Needs the ability to add multiple burst photos together into one video clip.
Slow/no performance despite 128gb on 6S Plus and iOS 9
This could be an awesome app if I could share what I've created! It freezes every time!!
In the app the burst images are showing as a loop but it exports only a single run through, resulting most likely in a very short video. You should be able to determine video length on export
