I’m enjoying this app while walking the C&O Canal trails. Photos, information, and landmarks are useful and interesting. App gives real time location so it’s easy to tell how far to the next destination. Plenty of links to external sites and maps to help plan and learn the history of the canal.

Difficult to navigate. Not very useful for planning trips. Somewhat useful while on a trail but only so far as telling u how much further to next spot on trail.

„Navigation“ is not intuitive or helpful, especially for planning. The „Getting Started“ section says there’s a map, but I can’t find it AT ALL! I would return this purchase if possible. I guess it’s a donation to the Trust but not a planning tool for the user. It may tell you what’s just up ahead or behind you on the path but if you’re trying to plan from home, this is not useful at all.
