Conversions are way easier with the swipe to convert feature. I use a variety of calculators as a teacher, mostly to see what students are using but this is handy on a day to day.

Probably my favorite calculator app on the App Store and my favorite app purchase to date! Update. Been using this app for years at this point. It’s basically just the default calc app on my phone and that’ll never change.
Can you update for iOS 17?
Well designed and goes as simple or complex as needed! I would love a way to quickly jump to common conversions and do conversions like inches to mm from an interactive widget in iOS 17!
Please update for the new iPhone 14 - 15
How is it that I’ve come to the point in my life that I rate calculator apps? But here I am. This is, hands down, by far, my favorite calculator app. I use it on both my i-devices and my MacBook and iMac. I’ve tried many liking for the right fit and this one fits the bill almost perfectly. Mainly I love the design/UI, the tape, and how easy it is to run conversions.
Without a doubt the best calculator app that I have ever used. I have been using it for years.
I spent quite some time here evaluating calculators. They all provided only limited functionality with massive advertising, charging ridiculous fees. This calculator works out-of-the-box with no advertising. With the small $1.99 fee, you get everything you could ever want in a calculator and more. Thank you!
I’m torn on this review because Calcbot is my favorite calculator, but it hasn’t been updated by the devs in a year and it’s showing it’s age. It’s still a 4 star app in my mind but it could be so much more if the devs devoted some time each month to keeping it fresh.
Calcbot is a joy to use with lots of nice touches like sounds (turn off/on in settings) and haptics. Interaction is very straightforward, and I love that you can see the ‘tape’ history of calculations, as well as the equations with numbers leading to the results. Conversions (a small one-time in app purchase for ‘Pro’) are a quick swipe to the right. A great calculator app, plus iPad version that fills in the gap on iPad OS.
It’s just awesome! It has everything you need in one place. From simple calculations to conversions. The only flaws are the lack of updates for iOS, iPadOS and MacOS. There is no version for the Mac M2 version without the need of Rosetta 2.
I have used this app for years and I really like it, however I’ve noticed a small glitch that seems to be new. If I do four, five or six calculations and hit the “=“ between each, one of them will not be visible. I hope this can be fixed with an update. Otherwise the app is great!

Extremely intuitive, versatile, relevant, & more importantly; useful cost effective Apps
Been using this for years. Can be used simply or for more complex calcs. Plus has a unit conversion module. UI is nice with large colored buttons
Simple, straightforward, but has everything I need in an attractive form. Thank you!
Please update the app
Thanks for all the great experiences over the years, folks!
Please adjust layout for the dynamic island.
I dont know if this app is still supported but if it is, please update it to fix the issue of a 6 being already entered when you open the app. If you're not paying attention your results will have a 6 added on to the fist number you actually enter.
Amazing how many calculators get it wrong....this one gets it perfectly write!!!!! Great history pull down, great buttons size, great landscape mode. Excellent overall!
It’s a very good calculator, some complain too much about the features you only get when you pay. It’s a measly $2, come on. The only thing I hate about this, it defaults to number 600, every time I use then close it, the next time I launch it there’s 600 on the display instead of 0. But it has history and I can paste delete any number, convert SI units, do whatever I want like on Samsung calculator. I hate iPhone calculator.
I’ve had this app longer than any of my iPhones. I don’t remember a time when I didn’t use it. I use this calculator literally every day of my life without thinking about it. It’s beautifully designed, feature-rich (the ticker tape and conversions are just amazing) and I love the sounds of the keys as I type away. Get this calculator.

Would recommend. Simple and easy to use. Great on the iPad
Simple, beautiful, useful
As fun it may seem to convert dollars to pounds, travelers are mostly challenged with the currencies in Asia and South America!
