Camera+ Legacy App Reviews

This had been an excellent photo app with nice editing features and filters. The previous update broke the editing features, not allowing the edit to be saved because of an upsell pop up, but that issue was promptly fixed in version 10.38 and the app is back to its useful state.

A legacy, a classic, an icon. Remains one of my favorites even after all these years.

I have always lived this app. I use it often for years. Suddenly it will no longer open when I’m trying to edit a photo. Anything I can do??

Don’t fall for the description, if you’re a photographer you do not want to get Photon. This is the best app offered by this developer.

I’ve been using Camera+ for years, I use it almost exclusively vs my SLR. The recent update has eliminated a very important feature for me a i shoot a lot of sunsets. They used to have a great adjustment for telephoto shots, a button on right side of screen that you use to adjust the telephotos worked great, now no more, this used to be a GREAT camera, now no more, TOO BAD they have not responded to my questions, too bad.

Problem, the app no longer shows the "Import" option when I select photos to import to the app to them edit. I've been using this app for years and this problem just started. I just deleted the app and reinstalled it, but still the same problem. PLEASE HELP!

For still supporting this app. It’s been my go to camera app for many years and continues to be one of the best out there.

Over the years I have purchased Camera+ on two separate occasions because it is one of my most effective and favorite apps. Today after cropping one photo, realized I no longer have the “current” Camera+ but the legacy version and can no longer edit or save a photo. Am fully aware that Camera+ is a business and needs to survive. Disappointed that Camera+ has chosen to almost completely disable my legacy version and render it useless. I will not spend $4.99 per month or purchase the app for $50.

If the app is no longer supported, what exactly am I paying an annual subscription for???

Really great Cam, and editing suite is also really comprehensive and easy to navigate

I’ve had this app nearly 10 years ( ? ) and it is still my go-to for shooting macro flora with my phone. It’s very user-friendly, and takes beautiful pictures that look like they were taken with my Canon. Not sure if this is permissible, but my IG is a_mckean. Every macro there was taken with this app. So, yep. To anyone looking for a simple camera app that’s easy to navigate and create with —give this one a try.

I have used and loved the original for years and made the mistak of accepting the offer to purchase a subscription to the “new” (pro) version. I absolutely hate it and immediately delete the app. Right now it’s on a seven day free trial but then I’ll be charged for a years subscription to something I’ll never use and have already deleted because I can’t figure out how to cancel before I’m charged. 🤬

I like this camera and it’s features and wish to use this one rather than the new one. Please keep updating this and never cut support.

What a great photo app. I’m sure it does not meet everyone’s needs but buy a professional set up if that’s the case or maybe invest in some aftermarket lenses. The pictures are just crisper, clearer and more vibrant than Apples app. There is a bit of a difference as to where when you’re taking a photo of friends the distance is different than the native camera app. Just recently I’ll open the app and it will intermittently decide not to work. A better alternative for lowering the memory size when taking screenshots. Hope there will be updates.

Worked fine for years and now it freezes whenever I try to go from view to edit a photo. Have to force close the app and go straight to edit.

Still not fixed. Photos taken with camera not showing in lightbox at all. They all reappeared after the Legacy update but now are not showing again.

Seems like a powerful app. But I just could not figure out how to use it, so I had to stop using it. Very powerful but very complex. There are no instructions o for it, no user manual; no links to such in the app and no manual on the company’s website. I’m going with Halide. At least they have an online manual. They also have a tutorial system.

What the heck happened. I didn't update the Legacy app at all and it's up to date but I can no longer use the text Scene properly. It either destroys the documents I take pictures of or it works properly, if I crop the image at all, it destroys the document with severe darks that are blown out. What gives?
