Nicely Done
XLNT. Good way to train. As an occasional photo bug I like the review I can quickly go thru. I look forward to an enhanced version (September).
On Point
I love this app! Even tho you don't take your own pic the interactive sample is very accurate. I was out today taking photos of a couple for a birthday shoot. This app was very accurate in guiding me to the correct settings as I was shooting on manual. When you feedback it actually tells you what to do. I too await the update!!!
Great App, minor tweaks needed
Love the app! It needs more shooting scenes: such as practice portraits, moving shots, macro, different light settings (back lit subjects, etc…)
Example: Practice shooting waterfalls (slow shutter VS very fast)
It would be really great to make it give tutorials on your specific camera, so you can learn more features on how to adjust for a shot.
Scenarios
Need new scenarios. Christmas trees with lights, indoor theater, landscapes etc...
More Scenarios
Other than what I request from the title, it's really great. If my professor is sharing this app with us in college to help us explain the basic principles of taking a photo, I'm pretty sure that's worth saying something.
Waiting for more features on next update
This is a perfect simulator. I wonder why some expect this to be a real cam! This is just a simulator to show basics of DSLR cams.
Pretty good
It's a pretty good little app but I can't use it right now because there is no way to turn off the sound of the shutter clicking. The only time I can sit down and play with this app is when my baby is asleep and it wakes her up everytime. Which makes it basically unusable for me 😕 please make this more user friendly? It's a great tool just needs more options.
Needs more content
It was cool for about 5 minutes. That's how long it took me to find out that if I use the exact same camera settings on EVERY shot I get a "good shot" but if I change them on any example it is off. They need to add a bunch more examples under a wide variety of lighting and motion situations and then it be awesome. Right now there are a bunch of examples of the EXACT same situation-- a little girl with a pinwheel swaying under overcast skies. The same settings work best for every example so it ge
Love it!!!!
I simply love it!!! I think the maker should keep it up so it can be run with new iPhone versions and maybe other images for the examples. Please keep it alive. We need it.

Read the description carefully ...
... this is what happens when you don't do it. The idea is that you practice controls on an app given picture. This is not a simulator on real pictures you are taking. I shoot film, so I needed a real controller app, to later take the picture. Not worth the money, for me.
Cool concept...
But once you get the settings right on the one and only example available, it's pretty useless. I definitely feel that I just wasted my money on this.
