Car Camera DVR PRO App Reviews

The developer restored date/time stamps to the video list and changed to the more familiar Month/Day/Year (USA) format. However, the stamp on the video itself still displays a Day/Month/Year format. I'm hoping the Focus Lock feature will be also be restored.

Great app, easy layout and solid options. Does what it is supposed to do unless your vehicle is equipped with Apple Car Play. Any call, text or even changing radio stations (moving out of car play menu) ended the recording. Can you enable background recording so it doesn't stop in cases as mentioned? Thanks.

You have fixed the issue with the txt color option without the app crashing. I was able to get the txt color I want. Thank you. A new problem arose. I chose 5 min videos and 30 segments. The app stops working after one 5 minute video or a few minutes into the next video segment. I don't notice this because I'm driving, not paying attention to the video. It defeats the purpose of having your app especially heaven for bid I'm involved in an accident. Please fix this. Thank you

The app keeps randomly crashing. It doesn't get along very well with bluetooth. When playing music via Bluetooth, once you open the app the music stops and if the app is running and you turn on the music the recording stops and the screen freezes. You have to close the app and reopen it. Also, often times especially on trips longer than 5 minutes, as you try to stop the recording, the app shuts down and you find out that no video was recorded for the entire trip.

Replace “Speed 30 - MPH” with “XX 30 mph” where XX is N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W, or NW. 3. Pro: It’s working. Cons: 1. Video is shaking, no stabilization technology used for recording while driving. 2. Layout mess-up, in portrait mode, driving information overlays on the top of cellular, clock and battery indications.

This would be a good app if it had background recording and loop video. It just keeps recording minimum 1 minute video segments until all your memories gone on your phone and then the app shuts down. Needs background recording, shorter video segments and loop video with option of how much space to use on phone

Well done 👍🏻 Edit: Would be good if “loop recording” was available... but far from a deal breaker. Also for anyone with Apple CarPlay, be sure to use a power source that does NOT go through your CarPlay USB as it will not work. Use a different USB in your car / truck.

There is no different from the free version and pro. Good app, just stay with the free. When you pay for pro you are not getting anything extra, same as free version. I can not change to mph.
