CARFAX - New & Used Cars App Reviews

I enjoy searching through cars on this app. Only one this is not working for me. app is not proportion to my phone screen. It’s very frustrating because it’s enlarge where half the car details are unreadable. This only happens when I’m trying to read the detailed history section and price breakdown.

Carfax, is absolutely great at keeping the maintenance history on vehicles and making you more comfortable buying used cars/truck. However, same problem as 6 years ago when you find a vehicle you want it’s never actually at the dealer, so far 100% the vehicles aren’t there.

It’s a vary good app easy to use

I honestly think this is the best app to find a car buttt recently there’s been a bug where I’ll go to change a trim or yr I want and I’ll go back to change something else and it’ll completely reset what I just had set. Lowkey annoying and makes me not want to use. But besides that I love the way you can see the history of the car and the reliability?? Amazing! I wish the reliability feature would come to all the cars!

I like Carfax for the insight and information you can learn before buying a used car. This helps prepare you for what to expect with a purchase and can help you filter out the things to avoid.

Where is the option to search new cars?

Prices are to high Inventory availability are slim

The app is great for finding used cars with the sorting and organizing. On your like list you should make way to compare cars on your like list. I think that there should be a way to sort by company or model in your liked list. I hope that you take this into consideration

Great options, choices, and filters. So impressed. Have not shopped in 7 years for a car, this should solve a lot of problems.

Way better to scroll and see the cars than that of the website/http version. Like it so much.

Have filters work properly

It would have been nice to be able to combine multiple makes and/or models in one search. Choices missing from the “Popular” features list. No option to search for Sunroof/moonroof for a Chevy Traverse. Most of these vehicles are configured for 7 passengers, not 8. Yet there is a popular feature selection for 7 seats, but not 8. Why?

the only thing better would be an auto tinder app. that way every thing you swipe left will automatically not show up again lol

Always my first stop for any used car search. No matter where I’d find a car, I’d want a CarFax report anyway - so this is truly one stop shopping.

I like the fact that you can choose the one owner, no accidents and the all of the propietary filters you can use on this app! The only thing that it doesn’t always show for all vehicles and I wish it did, is how much horsepower each car has. Because for me that is a huge factor in whether or not I want a car. Theres nothing I hate more than a car that can’t get out of its own way especially when it’s needed such as when getting onto a highway.

It’s a great app but I’m having problems.it won’t even keep me signed in to my account

On the website, I can save my searches without issue, but frequently in the iOS app the save search function is great out for no reason. This needs to be fixed. The features selection is not alphabetized, but is in order of how common that feature is in your particular search. They also gray out features that are not in your search results , but you might want to search for anyway. It’s unclear why they aren’t alphabetized which is the only logical way. Note programmer stop growing out options

'Failed to verify account!' Is the message I constantly get after browsing your app. I try to log back into my account when it kicks me out of it and then it just gives me this error every time. I thought the app was just having a bad day once, but its been going on for a couple of weeks now. On and off with this issue. Please fix.

Recent updates ruined the app it used to run perfectly now your filters constantly get reset after every new addition👎

App fails pretty often compared with other car apps. Filters lose settings. Login loses credentials. App will not allow you to save a search over 500 mile radius. Cannot exclude salvage titles. Nice layout. Access to Carfax is the major draw.

Every time I try to open the app it’s crashing and not support IOS 18.

The program does not work, that is, it opens and immediately throws me out of the program. I have already deleted and re-booted several times, it still does not work
