I wish it was possible to play with my friends remotely rather than having to be in person and pass one device around in order to play with multiple humans. Might as well just set up the actual board game at that point. Other than that I love it! Super fun!

As of today (5/21/21) there is a bug that was reported on 4/8 with the new set of tiles released in the last update. Until that is updated my below review is still accurate but... Play with the classic tiles for now Good iOS version of one of my favorite board games. Now I can play and not bug my family. The minor differences are so minor you don't notice it. This is a great game BUT the whole reason I got it was to play with family online. Not possible.

Campaign mode is worth playing. Lots of entertainment and it is challenging. I was hoping it had an online element.

I love this game and feel the overall graphics and all that were done beautifully. However, there is a bug where the game occasionally tells me there are no more bonus cards available when we're only on turn two or so which means there absolutely should be bonus cards! This happens while I'm doing campaigns. Restarting the level is the only way to fix it and it's super annoying.

This is an excellent implementation of the physical board game and I’ve enjoyed many hours playing it. However, I have noticed two instances of mislabeled tiles; one being the Secret Lair (it shows a bonus of 2 points for each Hallway when it should show 2 points for each Utility Room) and the other being the King’s Favor tile for Activity Room Size (it’s missing the icon indicating total area size). Other than that, and the AI often making suboptimal tile placements, the game is an awesome way

This game works well in the digital medium, the campaign is well designed to give you puzzles/challenges.

I love love love the new tiles and opening artwork. Please keep developing this app because it can still be better (multiplayer, more bonus card variations, new music?) but I am very glad to have seen/played this update.

This is my hands down favorite board game and the app does it total justice! Love it!

I hope everyone shows their support through some good reviews, because there are so many iOS board game ports that are no longer available, even when purchased, because the developers stopped supporting new updates.

Great app but could change a couple things. 1. We would like to be able to choose our starting color. 2. Online multiplayer is why we bought it if you can make that happen. 3. A.I. Difficulty choices. We still like it a lot though.

Worth every penny! We have the tabletop game too, which we love, but this one is so quick to play without all the setup and cleanup that it’s a constant go to. I wish I could give it more stars.

Great app adaptation of a terrific board game. I had the app first and it prompted me to buy the tabletop version to play with my family. A bit of a learning curve but worth it!

I do find this game enjoyable, but I can't play the campaigns effectively because it does not give me the room finishing bonuses for the black rooms the majority of the time.

The original board game was already great, and this iOS implementation adds a handy tutorial and a single-player campaign with clever and varied objectives.

I love playing this board game, so I am thrilled that it is available on my iPad now. I would like to see the expansion on this app now.

In spite of the fairly minimalist graphics this game is ridiculously fun to play and is a great puzzler.

Great game!! But I find it so sad to see something really great be limited by audience by not including asynchronous multiplayer play.

Castles lets you build actual rooms in castles rather than portions of buildings and roads. I like the spacial arrangement and clear scoring system. Campaign mode is so much fun, and no game is the same. Amazing app!

Enjoying campaign play. Few issues encountered and when seen, I was able to restart without losing my place. Good fun.

I'm quite impressed by the quality of the game.

A faithful version of an outstanding board game. I have also seen the bugs the others have reported, but they are minor compared to other games. The campaign mode adds so much to the replay value of this game.

Great job on the app. Will multiplayer be added? Even pass and play would be better than nothing. Also, as others have commented, an undo button would be nice, as I accidentally click on "Pass" once in a while and it messes up my game.

Good port. Only complaint is that there is too much fine detail for playing on a phone. Even the Plus size iPhones. Is probably great on iPad.

This game is a new obsession for me. Haven’t gotten the board game but I’m am planning on it soon.

It’s a great game, but unlike other board game apps, there isn’t any online multiplayer option. Big flaw.

Experiencing technical issue on iphone 8 of a mid-game freeze in New Match and Campaign mode. Occurs quite frequentLy. It’s a great mod of the board game when it is running. Unique and tons of fun, even using just AI players as challengers.

Good game, adequate implementation for tablets, but UI and text are absolutely too small to play on a phone. Stick to a tablet.

Well, I wanted to like it. The graphics are god awful, and look NOTHING like the title cards/screens. That’s seven bucks I’ll never get back. I thought there might be more to it art-wise. There’s not. Really, really terrible looking.
